A bustling hipster restaurant in Atwood. They have an eclectic menu with rotating salads and daily specials. Great food and prices. We always get great service!

Food is exceptional. Everything we have ordered today and in the past has been delicious. My sister and her significant other are vegetarian, and this is somewhere we go that we know they will find something that goes above and beyond for their vegetarian diet. We have loved everything Alchemy Cafe has to offer.

Detail to unique offerings is outstanding. Daily specialty drinks rotate. Soup of the day. Vegetable of the day. Bread of the day. We split the ribs, again with mash potatoes and VOD. $50 with dessert, drinks and tip.

It's a mixed bag from here I'm vegitarian and my two friends got 2 meat dishs the burger for the mushroom completely soaked through and was extremely unapatizing to eat

The other two dishes were good tho flavorful although the one who got a burger asked for medium but it was well done.

Overall it was good mostly mine was bad though I like the people here there extremely nice and the actual art is lovely!

It was busy but we got to sit at the bar and eat. Service was amazing. Good conversations from the servers behind the bar, good recommendations. Had the Nesalla Kombucha Margarita (n/a) on tap and it was so good!

Alchemy Cafe is a must-visit! The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were spot on. The sweet potato fries and wasabi green beans were standouts - highly recommend trying them! The atmosphere of the cafe is great, making it a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a meal. It's definitely worth visiting while in town, and honestly, the restaurant alone would be a great reason to come back to Wisconsin. Can't wait to return and try more of their menu!

The food at Alchemy is really good, and having a home made veggie patty available at no cost is great!

Unfortunately there is not a great selection of non-alcoholic Mocktails

I walked into a pleasant and dimly lit atmosphere with candles on the tables. I was greeted and seated promptly.
The server, Brandon, was very knowledgeable about the menu items and specials. He had a very kind demeanor.
I ordered the Banana Bread Old-fashioned for a drink. It served as a nice appetizer as it was flavorful, spiced nicely and not too sweet. 10/10.
For dinner, I ordered the gorgonzola topped chicken wings, which were served in a beautifully seasoned Bourbon Cocoa Buffalo flavor. I'd venture to say that these were the most delectable wings I've had in my life.
The sweet potato fries were the perfect balance of crispy outside and soft inside. I also enjoyed the side sauce of blackberry jalapeno jam.

I went into this restaurant with indifferent expectations and I left incredibly satiated.

Brava Alchemy. You've achieved a new loyal customer.
Thank you.

Process to pick up to go order needs improvement. Have to wait to get bartender’s attention, then there’s no designated place for you to stand so you are constantly in the way of the servers. Order then given to me incomplete. Both entree and dessert were overpriced relative to the quality.

Walked up to this place, saw people sitting outside and looked really cute. That was the last of the ‘good’ this place offered. We requested to eat inside to escape a warm day and were met with annoyance, not a single other person was eating inside the restaurant. As a group of five, they were going to put us at a table made for four with an extra chair to pushed up, to which we requested a different table since we had a few big guys with us (again, not a single other customer was sitting inside, and plenty of tables available) our waitress numerous times made snide comments ‘We fit five people there all the time’ ‘We’ve crammed 7-8 people there before’. I really don’t know why seating us at a different table was such an issue in an empty restaurant, but her comments could have been kept to herself. She went to clean off a bigger table with visible annoyance, and decided to tell us once again, that they have easily shoved five plus people there before. During her cleaning the table we walked over on disgustingly sticky floors, and noticed tons of flies buzzing around. If they cleaned their tables after a customer left the fly problem would at least be a bit better to manage, but they leave dirty dishes and unwashed tables out until a new customer wants to come in. We were very uncomfortable by this point and decided we were going to find a different place to eat at. As we were walking out of the fly infested restaurant, the rude fly keeper who was cleaning the table started to beg us to come back, ‘Oh it’s almost clean, you can sit here’. We absolutely did not sit there. Wish I could leave a review of the food, but seeing as we never even made it to a table, I cannot. I would skip this place unless you’d like your mouth to become an unwilling Venus flytrap.

The ambience was better than the food. A cute cafe in Madison. The fried fish which was their special on Friday and recommended to us was really rubbery, heavily fried, under seasoned and overcooked. Everything tasted oily and all the sauces like eggy mayonnaise. The sandwiches were better, and more flavorful.

Man, it pains me to write this… this place has unfortunately gone downhill in recent years. It used to be one of my favorite places with great food and service but both have fallen so far. Food has become bland, uninspired , and messy. And The service is more miss than hit. I think the place changed ownership a few years back and that could account for the decline.
