Delcious chicken and sides, especially the cilantro rice and fried plantains. Great service and nice, relaxing atmosphere.

Great service and food. Definitely ask for extra cilantro sauce. The chicken is tender and well-seasoned. Sides are delicious too.

Searching for authentic Peruvian flavor in Madison led us to Pikkito, and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the upbeat (but not too loud) music and the decor featuring Peru's three regions made us feel right at home. Our server, Fernando, was excellent. We ordered the Arroz con Camarones, which even featured authentic Peruvian corn! The pan con chicharrón and patacones were also delicious. While the chicha morada tasted a bit off this time (which we mentioned to the staff to check), the food itself was outstanding. It’s well worth the hour-long drive, and we’ll definitely be back with friends.

An overview of our meal:
Tostones- phenomenal, the best fried plantains I’ve ever had. The salsa with it was delicious!
Half Chicken: tender and juicy, even the white meat.
White beans: amazing flavor.
Black beans and rice: the seasoning on the beans was very different from anything I’ve had in the past but it was delicious and I think they’re a must have here.
Très Lèche cake: saw one come out for another table and it just looked so good we had to have it. The cake was soft and spongy and had so much cinnamon flavor and the cream on top was awesome. The best tres lèche cake I’ve had in a very long time.
Pisco sour and passion sour: weren’t planning on getting these either but when we saw them being made they looked so frothy and foamy we had to try. They were delicious the foam on top was light and it was a perfect balance of citrus, bitters and foam.

We came in without having looked up this restaurant and we will be back to try the rest of the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant, I think it’d be worth going out of your way to make it in.

Pikkito is a great little place to get a chicken dinner. They recently moved from Parmenter St., and the new location is very cool. The chicken is great and I really enjoyed the yucas.

The food was incredible. I had the Creole bowl. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I scraped the bowl. The atmosphere highlighted Peruvian culture and was vibrant. My waitress could have been more attentive, but overall it's a must try.

PIKKITO is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy great local Peruvian cuisine in Madison. The flavors are bold, fresh, and incredibly satisfying — everything tastes thoughtfully prepared and authentic.

It’s also a perfect place for groups. The family-style meals make ordering easy, fun, and ideal for sharing, whether you’re out with friends, family, or coworkers. Portions are generous and meant to be enjoyed together, which really adds to the experience.

If you’re looking for something a little different from the usual and want a place that delivers both quality food and a great group dining option, PIKKITO is absolutely worth checking out. Highly recommend!

New favorite! The chicken is always tender and well seasoned for a good price. Sides and drink menu are great too. Have come back multiple times and will continue to do so.

Awesome dinner spot!! Super fresh food amazing service. It’s funny I did order steak at a chicken place but good thing they have it on the menu because that steak was absolutely incredible with the french fries that soaked up all the yummy juices and the amazing sauce. It was a big hit for me!
When you go, you should really try the Inka-Cola. It was incredible it tasted like a cream soda

I don’t understand why this place isn’t more busy. The food is perfectly seasoned and everyone here is so nice. Also, it’s one of the decent cocktail places on the west side. Seriously come visit this place.

Escape to South America by way of dinging for lunch or dinner at this Peruvian gem! Warm, hospitable staff and an absolute delicious meal…like no other in Madison. (The last time my five senses were subject to such an experience, I was, in fact, in the Sacred Valley of Peru!) We can hardly wait to return with friends this week!

Their food is to die for and the owners are very respectful and kind. I am hooked on the chaufa pork dish, their plantains and desserts complement the savory dishes perfectly. I am obsessed.
