This place was amazing when they first opened, but something changed and now their food is extremely salty and greasy. We have told the employees and they just say thanks for letting us know and messages to Arod himself go unanswered. It's really too bad bad because I really loved this place until it changed.

This past Saturday I took my son to get his haircut next door at Mr Rudd's Barbershop and we had a few minutes to spare and a VERY hungry 4 year old's mouth to feed so we stopped in for some DELICIOUS food!!! (My third time, and I aint stopping!)We got chips and salsa (Holy cow that was good) and a bean/onion & rice quesadilla (DROOOOLING on the goodness!)My son can be super picky but he scarfed the quesadilla down! There were two other groups of people eating here for the first time and all you could hear from them was "Wow, oh my god, this is amazing, I didn't know this place was here!", and on and on.This is THAT PLACE that you refer to when you tell a friend 'I know a place with THE BEST food!".Taste buds watch out, Arod's is coming for you, and you're going to fall in love. boom

If you haven't had Birria Tacos, this is the place to try them! Delicious, authentic Tex-Mex. While we were dining in ARod made the time to talk to us about his food and you could tell how passionate he was about it. He made us feel very welcome and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend!

This place is over on Cottage Grove Rd in Madison, WI. I got the Birria brisket grilled burrito with everything + cheese sauce.It was incredible! It was so well seasoned. The delightful smokiness of the brisket added a unique twist to the traditional burrito. The generous portions of veggies and condiments made each bite an explosion of flavor.Kudos to the staff at Arod's for delivering friendly, and prompt service, such a satisfying experience!

After a really bad day, my mom and I came in here and our whole day brightened up. The owner is very warm, welcoming, and friendly and lifted our spirits. Quality is clearly a huge priority to him. The food is the best Mexican we’ve had in Madison with many unique flavors. I absolutely recommend stopping in. They also have dinner plates to take home to your family. We will absolutely be back. I ordered the big Vato sandwich and a kids taco with rice. The taco actually had a great portion of meat on it (more than other places) and the sandwich was fantastic. The food arrived earlier than they estimated and the driver was very nice. I'll for sure be ordering again!

Best tex mex!!! I always get the 2 brisket taco and 2 quesadilla combo with beans and rice. It always hits the spot. The flavor is excellent and the birria sauce is the best. Perfect for a craving or a hangover.
I came here before on the recommendation of a friend and definitely needed to come back! The Birria tacos (Fat & Cheesy Style) are hands down the best in the city. Fast and friendly service and Arod himself is awesome! Highly recommend!

This quaint little gem is must. Medium sized menu with some variety. Had the 2 chicken quesadilla's with rice. The flavors of both were great. Not full half quesadilla's (made me happy as not a lot of leftovers that tend to get lost in the fridge). I don't get up to Madison often, but I will definitely be back to visit this treat.
