The best bagel shop in town!! They have such delightful and affordable bagels with all kinds of fillings. My husband and I love their Lox and their breakfast sandwiches - egg, cheese and honey glazed ham. 😋 we come here every other weekend. It’s always packed with lots of people but they move pretty quick. I also simply love their EGG BAGELS and chocolate chip bagels!!!

This is a local go to, and I love the branding/atmosphere-- it feels like you're stepping back into the 80s or 90s. I recommend the salt bagel with Lox! Really well priced, the perfect bagel size too. When it's busy you need to take a number and it's best to right down big orders on the clipboards.

We’ve lived in Madison for 8yrs and never stopped here until today. What a mistake - we should have come on day 1! We ordered a dozen bagels (13 here), a lox sandwich, and a sausage egg n cheese sandwich = $19. And the sandwiches were positively delicious. I made some customizations to the lox sandwich and the girl taking our order was SO patient and friendly. We will absolutely be back! Love that they open early too. And there’s a good amount of parking. This was such a great experience.

Engfa and Veronica helped me out. They were quick and efficient and had good customer service. The food is always amazing from bagels forever and you can’t beat the price. Been coming here for 20 years and I’ve never had a bad bagel from bagels forever!!

Love their stuff. Unfortunately though, I came in yesterday and ordered 9 sandwiches and when I got back to the office, there were only 8 in the bag and the rest were not as ordered...missing veggies, missing condiments, etc. I should have double checked at the store, but I was disappointed. Usually they are great.
Sigh, I love Bagels Forever. Used to go all the time way back when, but it's been many years. Two of us came with a lunch order for a group of 7, filled out the individual forms for what people wanted. The place still looks exactly like I remember it. Unfortunately, not a single sandwich was correct and we were missing one (that we paid for). I even ordered mine separately from the group and it was wrong. The receipt was correct, but not the sandwich. It was also oddly loud in there for some reason and no one looked happy to be there. Very disappointing. I'll give it 3 stars hoping today was just an off day for them and will definitely give it another whirl.

I decided to order 2 toasted bagels from Bagels Forever today. They said they would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived in 20 minutes and they were ready. The store was a chaotic mess. people were everywhere waiting to place an order.They have a number system that you take a ticket and wait your turn. I went to pick up my 2 bagels and the woman started hading it to me and then asked if I had paid for them yet? I replied no and she sent me over to the counter, while keeping my bagels. I waited in line and when I got to the counter some 10 minutes later, I was told to take a number. The numbers were on 18 and I took 22. By this time my bagels were cold and they would not let me pay until my number came up. There is absolutely no point in ordering ahead here. Also, the place does not look clean and the employees are all very rude. If you want a good bagel immediately with polite and courteous service do not go to Bagels Forever. Only about 1/2 mile donw is an Einstein Bagels store. A much better choice.
