Awesome new spot for live music and adult beverages!
We went for live music on a Saturday night and they had a great lineup!
Friendly bar trying to get back on it's feet after the pandemic. Stop in and give them your support.
Big, quiet, with a knowledgeable and friendly bartender. And they have trivia Thursday nights.
Saw a great show, good drinks!
Interior rework is great, looks like the other barleypop which is a good thing. Space is of course a bit small and the acoustics were oddly super loud for just trivia...Most importantly the beer. The selection is always good but some of the pricing was absolutely outrageous. I understand bigger, less common beers are more expensive by nature but dear god $10 for a pale ale from Brewing Projekt, a single pint of Psuedo Sue, or $12 for a 10oz BBA Stout? What the hell happened? Being on the square means prices can nearly double?
Great karaoke! I had a great time!
First off, they only serve beer. While their selection is large, some people like a mixed drink (myself.) Luckily The Paradise is next door! Second...I went to this place to watch some bands, get some drinks. I found out they have pinball and was excited to play those. Turns out they stage the bands right in front of 5 new pinball tables, making pinball inaccessible. What a waste of fun and a money making opportunity for them. Third, The Frequency was better
I love places where I can have good beer with my best friend!
Just a different location than the original. Same great beers, great staff, and it gathers some great people!
Restaurantji Recommends
A fun place to go for trivia on Thursdays. A bit pricey but it's off the square so that's to be expected. Also, more beer choices than I've ever had in my life.
Love that they’ve transformed the legendary space into their own coming of age venue. The beers, bar, and staff speak for themselves, but the new stage area blew my mind. Great sound, excellent space to see live music.
Neat place to try local Wisconsin and other craft beers. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, made great recommendations. Definitely would recommend for people looking to try a lot of different craft brews
I overcame my initial wave of sadness at missing the Frequency and realized this place is great. Best place for beer on the square now. Lots of space for big groups as well (somehow this downtown location seems more spacious than the Atwood one).
Great selection and great prices. Alex the bartender knew what he his beer and had amazing recommendations. Will return
