Good service cute restaurant. That food is NASTY. As a southern woman collard greens are NOT supposed to be sweet. Meats were edible I guess but those greens threw my palette off at first bite. And they’re not being cooked long enough.

If I could give this place a million stars, I would. I discovered this wonderful, magical place through my job, who often orders food from here. Everything from their perfectly cooked brisket, down to their mashed potatoes with gravy is exceptional. I haven't stopped ordering from them since, and they've easily become the best BBQ restaurant that I've ever been to. The staff is super friendly and always welcome you with a smile. Their portions are good too, and it's all very filling. I have a hard time choosing the best thing on the menu, cause everything is executed to perfection, but if I had to pick, I'd suggest getting the brisket or the pulled pork, a side of mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with the gravy.....and don't you dare skip out on the cornbread (its life changing). Seriously go check them out, don't even think about it, just go <3

Look no further for some outstanding BBQ in the Madison area! Without a doubt some of the best I’ve had in Wisconsin. Between the brisket and their smoked jalapeno sausage, I can’t wait to indulge in there other meats.

Beef Butter BBQ catered our October 2025 wedding (~180 guests), and we absolutely loved working with them. Our guests raved about how good the food was, even the ratatouille (vegetarian option). A number of our guests were from Texas and were adamant that the brisket was top tier. Also, our venue did not allow any open flames, even Sterno heaters, so we worked with them on non-flame-based food heating options and were able to find one that worked. A note: You’ll definitely want more brisket and sides than you think. Thanks for helping make our wedding great, Beef Butter BBQ!

I am the type of person that’s hard to impress in regard to food. We are visiting Wisconsin Dells for a hockey tournament and we had to stop in Madison to change our rental car. We happen to see this place and the brisket is really good.
