Girlfriend and I were doing little shopping and decided to stop for lunch. Service was quick and very friendly. Love the look of the place on the inside. Our server was friendly and spoke Spanish as well. He recommended lots of different types of drinks and new dishes they had. We ordered couple drinks and they were very good. We each ordered the three tacos and rice and beans option. All tacos were very good and rice and beans were great. They had a green salsa as well that was very tasty and had a good kick to it. Overall we enjoyed our food, had great service.

Food is mid.Only do the Bigsur 3lb Burrito Challenge if you can eat more than 5 pounds of food. The burrito was bigger than my forearm. I was able to eat 2/3s of it and still came home with 2lbs of food.

Stopped in for lunch. Was promptly seated and the service was great. Had the taco combo, chips and salsa and a delicious margarita. The tacos were generous in size and for the amount of protein. The corn tortillas are awesome. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had. Below is just a highlight.- Waiter messed up our drinks. I ordered a strawberry mojito, wife ordered a Paloma but a Margarita was brought instead.- Waiter brought us the wrong food. Ordered (6) total tacos. (1) Pulpo Al Pastor, (2) Big Sur, (1) Hot Cheeto and (1) Mahi Mahi. Instead he brought us (2) Pulpo Al Pastor, (2) Big Sur, (1) Hot Cheeto, (1) Wabo Cali and (2) Mystery meat tacos. We let him know and he said “Oh I’m sorry.. those are good tacos though”- Tacos themselves were underwhelming. Big Sur tacos had flavorless meat. Pulpo Al Pastor (Octopus was overcooked and was lacking the pineapple salsa. Instead they put a habanero salsa on it), Hot Cheese taco was so wet it fell apart while picking it up. The other selections, were undesirable. I’m unsure how they cook their protein but it was all chewy, overcooked and bland.- Service was bad, bad. The waiter not once asked us if we needed additional drinks and for whatever reason would not provide us our bill. Instead I had to request it from the bar itself (after waiting 25 minutes for him to return)I would not recommend this place for multiple reasons. Plenty of better choices in Madison.

My husband and I had a pleasant date here tonight. Our food came out very quickly. The Birria Fries were excellent! The Big Sur (Carne Asada) Taco was my favorite and the Burracho Beans were great. The Carnitas Tacos here are also one of the best in the area. The atmosphere here is nice and upbeat but a bit more of a chain restaurant feeling to it. If you have a hard time seeing the menu in dim light, bring a flashlight. I can see how some folks may have a harder time with that. I would love to come back and try one of their burritos!

The staff was very welcoming, the restaurant had a ton of cool decor, and the food? The food was amazing! We and the other couple got the Valentine’s Day special. What was included? Glad you asked! Appetizer: guacamole and chips. - Entree: chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas (flambéed tableside)! - Dessert: Flan - included two margaritas on the rocks. It was so filling for such a reasonable price. Highly recommend!
