We decided to skip the traditional tiered cake and instead go with six 8-inch cakes in three flavors from Bloom Bake Shop, and we could not be happier with that choice! We chose pistachio caramel, maple butterscotch pecan, and the vegan/gluten-free tuxedo cake, and every single one was a hit. Our guests raved about all of them, even our more skeptical guests were blown away by how delicious the vegan/gluten-free option was!
Bloom made the entire process so easy. Nicole was incredibly helpful and communicative while we were making our selections and coordinating details. The cakes looked beautiful, tasted amazing, and added such a fun, personal touch to our wedding. I can’t recommend Bloom Bake Shop enough!

One could say good things about Bloom Bake Shop. Unfortunately, I cannot. I can only say FANTASTIC and ABSOLUTELY WONDERFULLY GREAT things. From standard baking to vegan and gluten free, Bloom provides the best. In my opinion. You will just have to go, buy a sampling and then judge for yourself. If you're not impressed, we'll then it's on you.

I absolutely love Bloom! We live nearby and go almost every weekend for brunch. The cruffin is a must-try, and the Wisconsin biscuit sandwich is one of the best breakfast sandwiches in town! Annemarie and the rest of the staff are so warm and kind - going is always a great experience, even before you get to taste the food!
My girlfriend and I made a quick stop at Bloom Bake Shop while riding along the biking trail, and we’re so glad we did. The Cruffin and strawberry rhubarb danish were both absolutely delicious—flaky, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The Cruffin had that perfect balance of crisp outside and tender, airy inside, while the danish hit the ideal sweet-tart note.
We also grabbed a cappuccino, and it was spot-on—smooth, rich, and expertly crafted.
To top it off, the customer service was spectacular. The people behind the counter were genuinely friendly, upbeat, and happy to be there, which made the whole experience even better.
Charming spot, welcoming vibe, and a perfect little detour if you’re anywhere nearby. Highly recommend!

Hands down, the best place to go in Madison for pastries. Everything's good here - treat yourself to a couple of pastries and wander down to the zoo/lake/arboretum for a perfect weekend morning.

This is an awesome place. My niece was getting married and we needed a cake to fit her dietary needs and they had it! Everything here is delicious and the staff was phenomenal! Good thing I don't live by them I'd be in there everyday ! What a wonderful place the smell when you walk in it amazing !
