Cold beer, delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly personable staff. It can be hard to find a good place in Madison that isn’t pretentious but this place nails it. The clam chowder was not only the best clam chowder I’ve had but the best soup, period. Almost got hired as a receptionist but didn’t quite make the cut. :) We will be back as often as we can!

The food is good, but I will not eat here because the management is ridiculous. They switched to excellent Coke about 8 months ago and are now back to crappy Pepsi. What the hell? That is stupid! I'm some with Blue Moon.

I stopped in yesterday and ended up getting a cocktail that had a shard of glass in it. I took a drink and felt something weird on my tongue and spit it onto my finger and turns out it was a shard of glass. It cut my finger tip to the point where it was gushing blood. Glad I didn't swallow it! Staff did not seem to think it was a big deal.

I ordered baked fish, on a Friday. It was less than adequate. So zi called them. The manager was very nice and called me back in a timely fashion. He said he would give me a new fish dinner to make up for there mistake. I received that fish order last Friday night. It was absolutely delicious and a huge portion. I was given extra everything. This is how they are, asked if I needed anything else. Was concerned about me and what I wanted and needed. Thus is a great place to eat fish. I like the baked fish. It was outstanding. They are a busy place parking close is sketchy. You can get lucky on parking, I always do. Remember, just go early and have some delicious food. Others know about going early too!

We went for fish fry and it was SOOOO GOOD!! Everybody was so friendly and nice and the fish was delicious and plentiful! We loved the coleslaw and that you got to choose a dip to go with the fries. If you’re in the area, I would suggest you go!
We came for taco Tuesday, and had a great meal. I tried the chicken, pork, and beef tacos, and all were good, but the pork was the best. And I’m glad to see that they now have IPAs, including some hazy and juicy options.

Came in for the fish fry and the cook was slightly rude about my coleslaw. Like chill I was willing to pay for it. I just want coleslaw with my meal lol. Probably wouldn’t come back, but the food was OK.
