Went for first time-and only time. We ordered a steak, mushroom risotto & BBQ ribs. The rib sauce was awful...caused severe heartburn to both who ordered it. Steak was fine, said baked potato was better. Risotto was good.

On Tuesday March 12th we had an event at the BonFyre. It was a group of about 20 people and we were in the Beacon Room. It was set up beautifully and everything was wonderful. We had appetizer's and drinks all of which were amazing. Hannah was the person I worked with for this party and she did a great job making sure everyone had exactly what they needed or asked for. I look forward to working with Hannah again for future events. If you are looking at hosting a party I would highly recommend Hannah and the BonFyre. Tracy H.

What a fantastic night to go out and try Bonfyre. Loved the decorations and the centering of the bar in this establishment, it was very lively. Overall, great experience, good food, and excellent customer service. We arrived during happy hour and ordered the zucchini fries. It arrived a little after our drinks and it totally hit the spot. The sauce has tangy and delicious. Our drinks were the mango martini and the Bonfyre Old Fashioned. Two very delicious drinks that are not watered down. We both shared a tomahawk steak with a side of asparagus and a twice baked potato that was delicious. We ordered a medium rare steak and the only reason I am giving this a 4/5 is because our steak wasn't medium rare all the way through. Some areas were rare. Besides this, the steak was delicious. We will both be coming back here again :)

I'm from the Detroit area and was in Madison for work. We had an event here and you can tell that a restaurant truly takes pride in their food when even for a party of around 25 people the food was hot, fresh, and exceeded all of my expectations. It'd be nice if the owners would build one here in the Detroit area. We have some very nice steakhouses but nothing that's truly Woodfired that I have found. I'll be back in a couple of months! Well done(not the steak)!!!
I do not recommend this place. I was snubbed upon entrance. And then I wanted to place it to go order and the bartender ignored me. I get the feeling that this is a place where you're expected to wear a suit and tie upon entering. I was just wearing my casual everyday clothes. I totally felt judged and looked down upon.

Went for a Galentine's day lunch. Our server was amazing. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The food though...what are we paying for here? Cheese curds were very greasy. My virgin Moscow Mule tasted like straight lime juice. Just not the same quality I remember from my last dining experience.
