I like the trivia even though it's not the fastest. Larry my beloved. The chicken tender basket is definitely the best value. Also, never forget your pickle.

No food at High Noon, so Brass Ring gets my cash. Silly rules trigger me to never return. Specifically, an employee was scared due to me walking in with a cup of beer from next door. They each have different licenses and they fear “the man” is policing the low number of patrons on a Sunday afternoon. Getting out of here after Gin Mill Hollow plays and this nudged me to get out of town and get back up north (not the bar, the place).

We’ve been doing trivia here every week for 2 years now! It’s my favorite weekly ritual and the excellent staff, food, and drinks make it even better :)

Worst fried cheese curds!
Bar tenders condescending to other workers. I ordered a half pint, but they charged me a full pint price without telling me ahead of time.

I’ve never written a review before but this place blew me away. To start, never had more condescending bartenders in my life. This place has the longest waits for the worst cheese curds in Madison. And 90 minutes to answer 12 trivia questions, really? Don’t see myself ever going back sadly but I guess brass ring give brass service, expecting even aluminum might even be too much.
