Seems like a great place. Amazing patio areas, but sadly on a Saturday night with 65 degree weather our group of 9 reservation for the patio didn't have a table available. Both patios were closed that night (not sure if it was the weather... I don't think 65 degrees in Madison is normally considered too cold & they was no rain in the forecast ... assume it was lack of staff that night). We will try again when they can accommodate a large party reservation. Our family and friends have told us the restaurant is great, so we will be back to try it our next trip to Madison

Great place to grab some food and a drink. I’m not from the area but make it a point to stop by every few times I’m in town.
It's ok, not better than the one I visited in Mequon Wisconsin. The atmosphere there was better. The host was not in the mood for really seating you, and for some reason had a attitude when talking to us. The employees seemed a little overwhelmed looking as they didnt want to be there at all. The waiter we had was great. The food items were overpriced for the small selection of food they did offer. So I didn't order any food at this one. I wouldn't come back to this particular Hollander as I like to have a great customer service experience when at any overpriced, well-known establishment. I don't recommend this one. (But to each is own).

The service, the food the location, everything is a 5 stars in this place, the manager took care of our party of 9, made sure we had shade on our 2 tables, the server was busy and still very attentive. Is now one of my favorite places in

Nick was exceptional. We had a toddler and baby with us, which is often challenging. Nick was prompt, personable, and kind. Moving forward, we will specifically request him as our server.

Nice spot for some Madison eats in a great location. We ordered mussels, the Fish Fry (only available Fridays) and the Jambalaya. Drinks wise, got the Cheeky Brit and the Mule.
Fish Fry is basically Fish'n'Chips, not too much to it but it was decent. Mussels were pretty decent, a little salty. Jambalaya was very tasty and a good portion size. All in all it's a good place to meet up with some friends for a casual bite. The service could be better and quicker, as food took almost half an hour to arrive and apps arrived after the entree.
