Great food and service! ....BUT...coffee was terrible!Chairs were not very comfortable, and the noise level was horrible. We were there to have a Saturday brunch... we were seated at a small table for 4 and we could barely hear each other. The ambient noise was actually painful to my ears. There's got to be a way to place sound buffers in a space like that to absorb and soften some of the noise. I would like to go back there sometime but not sure if I want to deal with the noise issue again.Parking: I am handicapped and the handicap spaces were almost all full.... unfortunately by some people who had the placards but were NOT handicapped!?The handicapped spots were also some distance from the restaurant (and the mall) entrance. Not surprising for a large mall, but there needs to be a dropoff space for handicapped access to the restaurant... Otherwise, we have to traverse a distance ... And cross the busy traffic lanes to get to the restaurant.

I have been to Cafe Hollander 20+ times. I love the place. But after today I will not be coming back. After missing brunch because they didnt want to seat us with 10+ tables open and never seated, it took them 40 minutes to bring out starters, waitress did not check in with us nearly enough for the wait. Didn't take our mains order forever. Cherry on top was this random other waiter brought my friends food out, without the rest of the table. So we sat there for 15 minutes watching one person at our table eat. Literally one of the worst things you can do as a server. I don't know what made this place fall apart, it wasn't even busy today. Again, will not be coming back.

Yeah the food and drinks here are not good. My fiance sent her Old fashioned back. The three sliders were extremely bland and we left the last one. Cheese curds were okay.Place was packed and had a decent vibe but our Waitress Hope was great. I appreciate her service. Only thing keeping this from a 1 star.

So at a mid to late lunch I and my wife found ourselves hungry on our departure from Macy’s in Hilldale we noticed this amazing Restaurant storefront, which ended up to be A plethora of overrated, arrogant short, #ick ponytail, pug server whom has no respect for a size medium T-shirt,of a food puppy mill. The food sucks and they think their arrogance is of value. This is a confused understanding of “value proposition “. You’re paying for the real estate not the food.!!!!!!Kid-friendliness: Not a good experience and I won’t be back. Your Environment is amazing, but food sucks suck and your help is not friendly. A one star experience.

Kinda loud, kinda pricey but still the best salad I’ve had in Madison this year.Most brunch dishes are underwhelming unless you pair them w/ alcohol.
Our server was wonderful, and the chai yoghurt was yummy, a totally new-to-us combination. Sweet potato fries were good too. Husband’s salad was drowning in dressing, so he just picked out the chicken. I guess he didn’t want to complain because we already sent back the local cider, it was not good but we were not charged.
