This place is amazing. The atmosphere, the hospitality of the owners, food, ambience... I wish I could give them more than 5-star rating. Found this place by accident 18 months ago, and now traveling there 5 hours every other month for the weekend.

We got takeout from this place for the first time last night, ordered a mix for 2, the crepe with beef, and hummus. The ordering process was easy and the food smelled amazing but we were very disappointed with what we received. The mix for 2 had a Caspian salad included, more than half of the salad had gone bad and was visibly spoiled. Not just wilted from the heat of the rest of the food because it was all packed together, the salad in the middle was obviously bad. And there was no salad dressing included. The portions were small and disappointing for what we paid. The pita that came with the hummus wasn't what we expected, more like a tortilla. The rice and fries and hummus were very good though.

The food was some of the worst I’ve ever tried. Listen I don’t typically take the time to write a review but in this case it’s warranted. I have a seasoned palate and know very good food and this wasn’t it. Be prepared to wear hearing protection as the music is blasted and all over the place. ?

I wanted to say I’ve always been looking for a Middle Eastern restaurant for a while in Madison, I found this place by coincidence and after trying it out I have to say it was top notch! The service and the speed, the quantity and quality, the hospitality and everything was just VIP, Irene the owner was very very professional and friendly, I felt like we were regular customers even though it was our first time, she also gave us a few free tasters and a meal for the baby, everything was incredible and great fresh food with great prices, we also went to the Fitchburg branch it was beautiful, best service as well, the bathroom was very very clean and the decor of the whole place specially the bathroom was awesome and very clean, I was so impressed

The flavor was different from my normal and turn out to be delicious delicious. Glad to have expanded my horizons. The service staff was responsible and cordial. My one critique is I was told "everything is good", which is not helpful to pick one meal for an unfamiliar cuisine.Even so, the atmosphere was classy and a place I could easily see being a wedding venue or a quiet evening just for two.

Great food in this restaurant opening in a new space. Charming waiter and staff. Few people there for lunch, so go soon before it gets crowded.

I went to Caspian Grill on Junction Rd for a networking event. They had a spread out for us, and I absolutely loved the food! We didn't want any to go to waste, so at the end of the event I took some home, and I shared it with my family. Needless to say we will ALL be back! The owners were warmly, friendly and and gracious. I'm excited to support their small business and to send lots of other customers their way!

Nothing amazing but it's good food and the owner enjoys talking with his customers. Was here at 2 pm and the very large restaurant space was completely empty. I hope they have busy times of the day/week and can survive. I would definitely eat here again.

Our group of four had a delightful and delicious lunch. The room was beautiful, the servers knowledgeable and the atmosphere was quiet so we could actually talk. The food was perfectly seasoned and delicious. I had the lamb chop plate and am still dreaming of it, the others had variety of kabobs and one had the egg plant dish. All plan on returning.Vegetarian options: Our vegetarian friend was happy with her options.Dietary restrictions: One friend is in the 2% of people that have a reaction to cilantro. He forgot to tell server until it was served. He was brought a fresh salad immediately and politely.Parking: Huge parking lot, easy access from disabled parking to door.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible dining room.

We discovered Caspian Grill by accident last year while in Madison for another event. Went to the bistro for lunch, and learned that there was also a dinner restaurant across town, and it was their soft opening. Amazing food from the Caucuses (Azeri, Armenian, Russian dishes and treats). The bistro is amazing if you are just hungry and want excellent food, and the dinner restaurant is also a great place for a date night, or for dance. They have salsa, bachata nights, and, our favorite, Russian nights. We loved Caspian so much that we have been coming back (from Iowa) every 4-6 weeks. The owners are amazing people, genuine, hard-working, and very attentive to customer needs. Try the lamb kebobs, the lamb pilaf, the mangal salad(smoky eggplant, grilled). The lamb dumplingsand lamb dolmas(stuffed grape leaves) are to die for. Just a few of my favorites. I would think the Junction Road site would make an awesome wedding reception venue. Great dance floor, light show, exquisite setup for tables and chairs.
