Chang Jiang (East Side Madison)

Always so good. Close to my house. Fast. Family run small business, service has always been friendly. Honestly my favorite place! Egg rolls are top notch, portions are large (left overs are the best), always spiced as ordered... can't recommend enough. Thank you, Chang Jiang!

I always stop at the EASTside Chang Jiang I feel their food is the best that madison has to offer for Chinese food.

Please do not have someone taking orders who sneezes on everything. If someone is sick, don't have them aound the food. I ordered the chicken broccoli, which was more like soup, and it tasted like they soaked the fried rice in soy sauce. Any other Chang Jiang the food has been good and filling. I threw over half of this out. Disappointed guys. Do better.

Placed order. Said be ready in 15 minutes. Took 30 minutes.
Got home and missing all egg roles ordered.
Called and was put on hold and then hung up on.
No call back or nothing.

Had to stop ordering from there. They never get online orders. I've had to show up more than an hour late. Last one I ordered at 3:30 and did not get there at 6:00.

This place is terrible never again will I go here food has no taste rice was burnt over horrible

Absolutely horrible service. I had placed an order for delivery set at 5pm. It’s approaching 5:30, I called the store three times and was able to reach them with a fourth ring. Story short. The manager said my order was set to 6pm. I told her no, I have a receipt that says 5pm. So I asked for a discount because this was their mishap, he offered to make the order now and have it delivered. I told him I wanted a discounted, he offered a 10.00 discount, I said no. He offered a 15.00 discount, I said no. I said I spent 65.00 in take out, I need a refund. He sound bothered but he agreed to the refund. Don’t use their website service to place an order

Ordered food for delivery. Receipt was right but I received meat dish and I don't eat meat and had to throw it away. I ordered veggie egg roll that was just full of cabbage and didn't taste good, no other veggies inside. Other items were ok but the overall taste was not good. The Deforest Chang Jiang is excellent so its a shame this one was so bad. This branch on the east side I will never order from again.

Ordered online for pickup in 20 min. It's now been 45 min. Will think twice about ordering from here again.

I would not recommend this place. General chicken was rubbery, teriyaki chicken lack of flavor, Singapore noodles lack of flavor. I would say the crab Rangoon was the best part. I’ve had worse Chinese food.
