“A neighborhood stop -- super casual -- not for you if you want high-falootin' white glove service but definitely for you if you want great food at a fair price. We recommend the rib dinner or the fried chicken dinner -- served with Mac and cheese and cornbread. Ribs were meaty, fried chicken served hot and tasty. “We ordered carry out and it was a good experience, The wait wasn’t very long. We ordered a medium stuffed pizza and I would have loved to see more cheese inside. It was not cheesy at all, disappointing, considering the price. The breaded mushrooms, hot wings and the breadsticks were good. The wings are a pretty good size, I ordered bone in. Their Tiramisu slices are very good.“

“Amazing service. Today I picked up 6 pizzas for my daughter’s birthday party. Some of the pizzas had varying needs to accommodate food allergies. One of our sons has severe food allergies and some of our guests kids had other allergies. When I picked up the pizzas, the gentleman who handed me the pizzas let me know how they were prepared; to keep us informed of what was done for the pizzas. I was very appreciative of this and so was my wife when I told her what he told me. I’ve been to this location a number of times and it’s been great service and food every time. Highly recommend!“

My partner and I wanted to stop in before heading back to our station in Oshkosh. 30 mins to close and we couldn’t fit our ambulance through the drive thru. We walked down the drive thru and were met with the most kind, sincerest service my partner and I have ever experienced. They allowed us into their closed lobby and treated us incredibly well with their service, food, and hospitality. Everyone there was so friendly. Highly recommend this location. “Please keep an open mind and read me out. So, you waited over an hour a time or 2, or there was an error (wrong topping, etc..) - or X, Y & Z happened? (100% inevitable in any delivery or parcel transference or taxi type of situation). So, you passive-aggressively take a swipe or "get back at them" by posting negative stuff. Why is the impetus to post a review on Google or others, in most of the reviews on such receptacles for such, anyway, mostly negative?? You waited an hour for delivery? Take a look around the world you're living in, and stop your first-world whining. Seemingly, SOME people have "nothing nice to say" - they simply didn't listen to their parents about not saying it. If you're from Madison, you know Pizza Pit has been around forever and had almost a dozen locations in the Madison metro area until things "changed" circa 2000. Fiore and the Cottage Grove Road location have CONSISTENTLY & for a long, long time, provided searing hot, wickedly-spicy (I think the spice, or hot factor, has changed from say, the 90's - in the sauce) pizza to satiate even the most ardent fuss-butt. Pizza Pit was years into delivering their signature 'spiced' - 'Za & in any precarious situation or icy road condition - while Glass Nickel was "still looking at the lingerie section of the Sears catalog." I'm not attempting to take anything away from Glass Nickel, as their spinach cheese bread and many other things are great. But, SO does Pizza Pit, that is, have an invariably extensive menu of delicious products to fill your stomach so your body is nourished properly - saving your ever-loving soul. Epic employees in town, visitors in town for a Badger game or whatever or whomever reads this - I have had pizza all over the world, and Pizza Pit is uniquely delectible & sumptuous. A truly Madison original. I realize opinion is subjective - so, maybe I'm a different breed of cat. -_-P.s.
