The workers were so helpful and kind, they didn’t rush us even though we weren’t sure what we wanted and they answered all of our questions happily. Our food was delicious but experience with the employees definitely made the visit!

If I could give this 0 stars, I definitely would. I thought about ordering from a different Chipotle hoping to get a better experience, I was wrong. I ordered a burrito and a kids quesadilla then guess what, the quesadilla wasn’t even there! I was left with my brown rice and sofritas. I got brown rice for both items and it was too citrusy and did not taste good. The carne asada was okay but overall experience was terrible. I took the pic right after I opened it and already knew it was going downhill from there. Tried calling the restaurant to let them know personally but it automatically went to the robot voice and when I talked it asked me if I was making an order. Ended the call and got my refund through the delivery app instead. Waste of money.

Best chipotle location in the area by far. Nicest staff of any restaurant; always super welcoming and friendly. I literally drive 20 minutes out of my way to come to this location and not the one near my house. Whoever hires their staff knows what they're doing.

Don't do pickup from this location. The burritos are small and bowls are underfilled. This bowl was not touched, it was just opened before the picture. It was less than half full. The burrito along with this order was mostly extra tortilla wrapped up on the inside.

Just want to give a HUGE sarcastic Thanks to the guy who gave my wife a hard time after she spent 12 hours working with Covid patients. To throw attitude at her after she asked you to remake my dinner for your damn mistake. The mistake you asked her if I would be ok with because YOU didn't want to remake it!! Because of your lack of listening and YOUR OWN mistake. You chose to take it out on our meals. So turn on those big boy listening ears and own your mistake and don't take it out on the customer! Man you acted like my fricken 6 year olds.

I placed my order from the Uber eats app. I ordered a burrito bowl with steak, black beans, lettuce and fajita veggies. When I received my order I was totally disappointed. I had a sprinkle of lettuce, a sprinkle of veggies and a small amount of meat. I had more black beans than anything. I tried several times to reach out to the store but all you get automated system. I tried to reach out via website the only thing they text me was to reach out to Uber eats. They are not the ones that prepared my order you guys did. Why would I reach out to them I don't have a problem with how my food was delivered, my problem is how my food was prepared. I'm hoping to get a full refund at this point.

Love the food, Sadly if you want to feel scolded for placing a straight-forward order by the "restaurateur" aka - condescending manager" that lacks any customer service skill. This is the place to go. Uncomfortable and disconcerting to watch 1st-hand how the micro-manager with no customer service under their belt, treats employees right in front of you with the same I'll Huff, & I'll Puff "Large & in Charge" malarky. We loved Chipotle, for this reason, do our best to no longer visit the Shorewood Hills location. Was more convenient, too uncomfortable after being treated the way we were for the 3rd time now. Dining out should be a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Hope Helicopter Micro-mgmt serves them well (on another planet! ) If the intention was to chase paying customers away, mission accomplished. Again, except the occasional hard bits of uncooked rice, the food is delicious. How sad, our experience outweighs any cravings. May visit a different location (less frequently as it's less convenient).

Chipotle has went VERY downhill in recent years...This is the second Chipotle in the area that we have tried going to due to extremely poor customer service. The first location was on Old Sauk Rd. where the staff members were taking selfies at the cash register and wearing Airpods on the prep line listening to music. I had to ASK if they were ready to take my order and/ or to even acknowledge us waiting to be helped.Last night we went to the University Ave. (Hilldale) location to give things another shot. We should not have!We showed up around 7:30-8pm (they are open until 10pm; it's not like this is a unreasonable time to order) The prep line was trashed!! Food was everywhere and unstocked food bins upon every step in the ordering process. The staff was acting mad that customers were there and being short with customers in front of us, at one point they were out of lettuce and a man threw the metal food bin across the back bar smashing it to the ground shouting "MAN! I JUST CUT LETTUCE UP!!!" …incredibly uncomfortable as a customer standing there watching these workers act like pouting kids not wanting to wait on paying customers coming in. If the employees don't want to work here, they really need to find other jobs since there are PLENTY of openings in the area. I come from a background in customer service and have worked on a prep line for several years, I get the frustrations of rude customers. But this is not that case. It's simply uncalled for and we are done giving Chipotle and the staff a chance. We don't go out to eat to feel like we're the people inconveniencing THE STAFF to do their jobs.Do better Chipotle. Do. Better.
