I came in around lunchtime, my first time here and I work in the area so I decided to give them a try. I really regret wasting almost $25 on this food.
Young lady, working in the counter was extremely friendly and nice. Customer service was great. The person that gave me. My food was also very pleasant. I ordered the to meet two sides deal the waitress suggested the brisket. The brisket was buried thin very dry and tasted cold the sausage was extremely tough. My hush puppies also were cold. My green beans had zero flavor. Ribs were tough
I’m not sure if it was because they had a nice amount of students in there or what, but I was not satisfied with my food. I was going to double back But due to how busy they got full of students, I decided just to deal with it

I really like this place but the only issue is that the brisket is very hit or miss. When it hits, it absolutely hits. It’s either warm and delicious and falls apart, or on the flip-side, its served cold and dry. If they can nail their consistency, would be perfect

One of the absolute best barbecue places I have tried around. The staff was very friendly checking up on me to ensure that I was enjoying my time and that all my needs were met. The dish I ordered was jalapeno sausage and macaroni and cheese. Both were cooked to perfection I thought the price in general was just a touch expensive but nowadays what isn't expensive. I will definitely be going back again. I would like to try their brisket and their jalapeno cornbread. The only constructive criticism I can think to give is that they should offer more sauces. Specifically, I would like to see vinegar and pepper flakes (NC), mmmm yummo!!!! I would have took some pictures, but I was way too busy stuffing my face with deliciousness.

I ordered the two meat platter and have the ribs and a brisket ordered a side of chicken wings. I am in love with this food. My waitress Alexis is amazing. She is so kind and sweet and just has a very endearing personality. I would give this a 10 star rating if I Could. All the staff here are amazing!!!!!

Pulled pork sandwich outstanding! Crispy flavorful outside pieces and tender juicy inside pieces mixed together. Excellent flavor and moisture. Good bbq sauces, great fries, and excellent bbq beans. Some of the best cornbread Ive ever had. Fast service

We stopped in to City BBQ to check them out, as we own a BBQ food trailer in northern Michigan. We had great conversation with the manager, Matt and he was fabulous! He was so helpful and so kind. We are so happy we stopped by. Our food was all out of this world delicious and smoked to perfection. We will definitely stop by again next Labor Day weekend on our annual Wisconsin trip. Thanks again Matt! We truly appreciate your kindness!
