We had the best experience here last night. The service was great, the staff helpful and friendly, and every bite of food was delicious. My husband loved the Bama chicken. I had a pork sandwich with the crispy baked potato. That baked potato was perfect. We loved the atmosphere and everything else included in our visit.

First time eating at City BBQ. Owner and staff were friendly and attentive. Owner brought out extra fresh brisket because we had received the very end of the last brisket. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a great first experience.

Amazing barbecue. I hadn’t been here in a while, but something made me remember the brisket beans, and they’ve somehow gotten even better. And the brisket chili with pickled jalapeños is the best you can get anywhere.

Pretty standard, run‑of‑the‑mill BBQ joint vibes here. I went in hungry and came out full, so mission accomplished. I tried the Sloppy Joe, Mac & Cheese, Nachos, and Hush Puppies. The BBQ itself? Not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely tasty enough to keep me from regretting the trip.
The Mac & Cheese and Hush Puppies were
fine. Nothing offensive, but nothing that made me want to write home about it either. Let’s just say they didn’t inspire me to slap my mama — and if you know good Southern food, you know that’s the benchmark.
Pro tip: sample all the sauces. It’s basically BBQ law at this point, and they’ve got enough variety to keep things interesting. Prices are pretty reasonable too, which is always nice when you’re staring down a tray of smoked meat.
If I go back, I’m absolutely gunning for their “famous” 18‑hour Brisket sandwich. Because if you’re going to brag about something being cooked for nearly a full day, I feel like I owe it to myself to see if it lives up to the hype.

We catered the Thanksgiving meal for our office party and the food was amazing! Everybody was raving about it and insisting that we order it from here every year. Many employees said it was the best turkey and sides they have ever had. Thank you!

Great pork sandwich! Super tender pork with great flavor comes plain so you can add your flavor of sauce. Several house recipes offered. Great southern style sweet tea!

We came here because they offered a free meal to veterans on Veteran's Day. We had a pulled pork sandwich, and a chicken leg and thigh quarter, with french fries. Both types of meat were tender and juicy, with enough smoke flavor but not too much. We were happy to find malt vinegar packets on the counter for the fries. Despite the number of people showing up for the special, the staff were very cheerful and helpful.
