I Stan for city bbq and dare I say it. It may be my favorite bbq spot in all of Madison. It's easy to get to, fast to order from and the employees are always so friendly. Their loyalty program is also great and the more you go the more you save. Here's the highlights from my past couple of visits- 1. Pastrami - it's a limited time special right now and boy is it delicious. They have it on fries and a sandwich and goodness the sandwich was to die for. Incredibly flavorful, Smokey and had the perfect combination of meat, sauce and veggies 2. Sausage- JUICY. Nuff said 3. Beef brisket sandwich - solid solid brisket that is juicy and flavorful. You can't go wrong with it 4. Fries- crispy, potatoes that aren't too thin and feel fresh cut with meat still on the inside. Love them 5. Corn pudding- try it!! It's like an easier and more moist way to eat corn bread! I love coming here and will definitely be back with friends as the seating area is spacious and there is absolutely something for everyone.

absolutely loved the food. we did catering option for work lunch amazingly good prices, beats sandwich shops even. great flavors and the cornbread came in mini loves. would definitely order again!!

Good barbecue and a generous amount of brisket in the sandwich. The fries are skin-on and truly taste like potatoes which is refreshing. Cheerful staff and clean place. While I was enjoying lunch, I saw the delivery truck bringing a load of wood for the smoker.

Honestly terrible place. Ribs were dry and had no meat on them. Fries were bottom of the barrel with only little potato scraps. Even the Mac n cheese wasn't very good. Way too expensive as well. Nothing comes with a side?? Would not recommend if you looking to have a quality meal somewhere.

The staff is always super friendly and outgoing.I've always gotten take out or delivery as I work nearby.The pulled pork has a good peppered kick to it, which I am a huge fan of! The brisket is good, but prefer the pulled pork.The side are pretty amazing. The corn pudding is amazing, I could eat it everyday. The hush puppies are dang good too! The best part, they drop them in the frier when you arrive for your pick up so they are super fresh and hot!The peach cobbler dessert is very tatsy as well!Overall, an excellent choice compared to the usual carry out in the area!
I am never disappointed with the quality the flavor the smells all of it! It is really hard to find a good barbecue place that is close by and it is so nice to know that I don't have to drive clear across Madison to get good food. I rather pay for quality and flavor and everything and this place never disappoints. I hope they stick around for a very very long time. It's definitely one of West Madison's gems! Highly recommend this place. Cost wise it is worth it also and they even do catering.Parking: They have parking right up front of their building and it's an interesting setup for parking but you don't have to fight to find a spot. I just picked up dinner as a last minute Resort and it said I was going to be getting my food at 4:04 and they delivered earlier than that and they're super friendly when you walk in and everybody just is very nice to be around it's a good atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: I haven't gone there at night so I'm sure it becomes a little different than during the day but during the day you can enjoy your food and have peace of mind the music's not too loud to the point what do you have to scream at each other to talk. Very relaxing experience and they have high chairs for your little kids
