I like this place for coffee and atmosphere but when I grabbed the to-go yogurt parfait, I looked at the nutritional label and it said 50gms of sugar😲. That's double the amount of sugar a person should have per day and it's on one small container of yogurt parfait. That's a crime!

Kinda wild to see this listing and its past reviews, something must’ve changed because there’s effectively nothing vegan here. All the coffee specials have dairy, there was one vegan smoothie out of 5-7 options, no vegan pastries in the case, the one option on the food menu was avocado toast and they were out. Would not come back.

Came here for a place to study and get some work done. The vibe is amazing! There’s a glass ceiling with garage style doors which allow a ton of sunlight. Located in the corner of two busy streets, there’s plenty of people watching as micro distractions between tasks, which I always appreciate. Free parking in the back (though not a lot so could see it filling up quick). Plenty of bike parking too!

Staff were super friendly and order came up quick, thanks y’all!

The coffee and food itself… nothing to write home about. I got my normal iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it’s, eh, serviceable. Probs in the 3rd quartile of coffees I’ve ever had. I also got the ā€œmocha sconeā€ which was really dry. Apparently the baked goods are house made(?) so I guess kudos to that but like nothing to write home about.

$10 total for my coffee and scone before tip.

Overall, definitely gonna go back to study there but it’s not gonna be a go-to spot for coffee pickups.

Really good iced mocha! Glad they had decaf options as many coffee shops that I’ve been going to don’t offer it for some reason.
Was happy with my purchase.

The blackberry matcha latte here is delicious. Their mugs are very cute for pictures (although I forgot to take one) and the vibes are suited for looking outside and playing games in the garage/sunroom area of the shop. This is definitely my favorite Collectivo in Madison!

Nobody smiles here. Cashier only one who was happy.
No refill on coffee like Starbucks.
Long line and only 1 person.
Why go here?

Iced smoked vanilla mocha is to DIE FOR! I just moved to the area and this is going to be a regular spot for me. One of the best coffee's I've had hands down. Service was very fast and quality is great! Easiest 5 star review I've given.

If your from out of town there is very little parking space at the coffee shop. I loved the coffee I had, my bf loved his coffee and lavender lemon scone.

Always recommend the Pistachio Matcha Lattes for something that is absurdly tasty and refreshing, as well as the seasonal spritz drinks. Baristas are very friendly and consistent with how they make the drinks. The food, however, varies in quality and freshness especially the breads and cookies that sit out for a bit. Otherwise, the atmosphere is great and I love reading at the cafƩ.

Cozy Vibes & Great Coffee on Monroe Street

I visited Colectivo Coffee on Monroe Street for the first time and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, sip your drink, and enjoy the moment. The interior is stylish and inviting, with a relaxed neighborhood vibe that makes it perfect for studying, catching up with a friend, or just taking a break.

The coffee was excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. I tried one of their seasonal drinks and was not disappointed! They also offer a solid selection of baked goods and light bites, with options for different dietary needs, which I really appreciated.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Madison, Colectivo on Monroe Street is definitely worth a visit. Can’t wait to come back!

I stopped by while waiting for my car to be repaired. I got snubbed by the cashier. The vibe I got here is that they aim to be upper middle class and expect their customers to be as well.

I don't think I would personally be able to come back. It's quite loud in here and overstimulating. Also, it's hard to find a seat when it's busy. I ended up having to sit outside a bathroom.

The food is ok, but it is definitely overpriced. My experience here is mediocre at best.
