For the past couple of months I have been a manager at Cottage Cafe. During my time there, the owner stole thousands of dollars from me, paying me 5 dollars an hour less than I was guaranteed and shaving 10-15 hours off of each check to save himself money. I have been told by multiple other employees that their wages are also being stolen. On Saturday, I sent a message to the owner and other manager about how I would no longer accept the wage theft and have reported them to the state. Today they informed me I was being fired, with no explanation. Also, I have photos and documentation to prove this place is absolutely riddled with health code violations.

By chance I found this café that from the outside looks so simple and small, but when I entered I saw a giant, welcoming, beautiful, clean and always full space!! You can come at any time and it will always be full, a wonderful and familiar atmosphere, the food is perfect and the prices are fantastic!!! Since that day I always come and bring my family and friends to spend quality time here!!!

This restaurant serves a good choice of breakfast items I went there with someone from the area I opted for the hamburger which was a mistake The hamburger had a fake smoked flavor and was very low quality meat I threw the hamburger up and was ill for two days after eating it Best idea for going here is to just eat the breakfast options The coffee is premium quality The service was good and so is the pricing
Had a great breakfast there. Only complaint is they need to sharpen the steak knives.

I had the walleye and eggs, and all was delicious except the hash browns which tasted like griddle oil. Very pleasant and efficient staff. The tables were always full, and we went on a Thursday!

Walked in nobody spoke stood there waited to be seated so I sat myself I didn’t have a lot of time and wanted a small meal and to my surprise I was told I couldn’t order a kids breakfast because I wasn’t 12 and under she said she could get in trouble. HOW? I will never step foot in this place again. The building could use some upgrades and the menus as well spot were on them and the plastic on the menus are ripped in places and you can get a paper cut if not careful I never had this problem ever this was my first time ever coming here and definitely my last
