Love their blueberry matcha so much, it’s a shame that the barista who took my order the last time named Dara was so incredibly rude and condescending to me. I kindly asked about the hilldale employee discount and she asked where I worked and when I told her, she said “well I don’t get a discount there so you won’t be a getting a discount here.” A simple no would have sufficed.

Wow. Ordered avocado toast. Got mushed avo on bread. Even my kid said she could make better. Not even an attempt to toast or to present something worthy of the cost. Ate it b/c we were hungry and long line up. Eat-in folks all had to-go containers. What a waste.

I used to love coming to this coffee shop, however hearing about how they treat their employees is infuriating. They’re overpriced anyways, but I miss my favorite barista. Crescendo will never be the same. Time to find a new coffee shop.

I stopped in Sunday morning for a quick coffee. I thought the service was rapid and friendly. My coffee was really good and I appreciate that they have the milk and simple syrup out for people to add as much as they desire. The one thing I will say is that the store can get quite loud. The location is not large and there isn’t much within the store to cancel out any excessive noise. Wouldn’t be my go to spot for studying. But overall would come back!

This is my go-to coffee shop to do any work that I have to get done. As a law student, I have so much work to do and very little energy to do it. Crescendo has amazing drinks and food, the staff is so friendly and kind, and it has a fantastic atmosphere that I can spend hours in. I often will visit to sit and work for hours, and the staff has no problem. I LOVE this place!
It was just… okay? I was really disappointed because it wasn’t what I thought it would be.Coffee: not strong flavor at all. Not strong sweet flavor and not strong coffee flavor so it ended up just being bland. I got two both with different syrups and you couldn’t taste the syrup flavor AT ALL. Hazelnut is a pretty strong flavor too and I didn’t taste a thing. Something to be said about the fact that I can make better coffee at home…Food: OKAY. Very pricey but only thing that was worth it was the “treehugger”. Felt like the only draw to their toast options was that they had super thick bread.Best part was just the shop itself looking good. ALSO I’m seeing people get these cute plates and cups. I ordered for there NOT TO GO and got paper plate, plastic clear cup, and warm to go cup. Not the vibe. Expected more considering I made a pretty lofty order of $40+ dollars.
