100/10 recommend! We didn't have a reservation but they allowed us to sit at the bar. Andre our server was amazing! The owner came out to tell us about the specials and he was so nice! The food was melt in your mouth delicious! I had the veal special and I wanted to lick the plate!

The atmosphere, the drinks/wine, the service and the owner, who stopped by several times were all first class! I had the Sicilian Chicken, which was incredibly delicious!
Warm lights dimmed real low made me feel all cozy when I stepped into D'Vino. Simple row seating, not too near the couple next to you, but still intimate seating. Specials were seasonally spectacular. We had a fig pizza for a starter. I had a most delicious pesto sauce over delicate cheese filled pasta. My friend had the chicken which was a generous portion. The seasoning took us right to the edge, then it didn't go one millimeter further, and wow, we couldn't stop talking about it, and experiencing it! My friend is kind of a tough to impress kinda guy, he was impressed for sure! We closed the place out, but the staff didn't let us know it, which is always appreciated! I will return, and you should probably decide to come here ASAP!

Extensive variety of wines and cocktails at reasonable prices. Attentive waiter service clearly explained specials and menu items, and provided sound recommendations. Delicious appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Small, quiet dining setting. I highly recommend making reservations to enjoy this restaurant in downtown Madison.
The best food I’ve had in years! Made from the heart and it’s a beautiful place to!

My husband and I frequently dine at D'Vino and highly recommend it for an ideal dining experience. It is relaxing, with music and decor that are charming. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Michele, the General Manager, is the perfect host, ensuring that dining is a pleasure. She cares and is committed to diners having a pleasurable dining experience. She excels in her role.
The Owner and Chef is Dino Maniaci. He and his team of Chefs provide creative, flavorful, and attractively plated dishes. Most recently, my husband enjoyed the Ziti. We both loved it.
I am partial to the Meatballs and Spaghetti with Dino's Nana's classic red sauce. It is the ultimate comfort food. I brought home leftovers for my husband. He thought it was amazingly flavorful. For dessert, we recommend the Cannoli and Lemon Sorbet (the perfect experience of lemon) with Ricotta cookies.
D'Vino is our favorite Italian restaurant.

What an absolutely beautiful restaurant. The staff was so friendly and we even met the owner. The food was impeccable and truly blew us away. My boyfriend had “the best chicken parm” he had ever had. Such an authentic Italian restaurant. Already made reservations to go back!
Overall good experience. The servers were friendly but not very experienced. The food was very good but did take quite some time.
Our food at D'Vino last night was Divine! My Pasta Marinara with breaded eggplant was excellent and mouth watering! The service is always great there with Dino and his charming staff. It's also beautiful ambiance. If you're looking for delicious Italian food this is your place. Amore!

We had made reservations and our table wasn't ready when we arrived. We understand that happens and they made room for us at the bar to wait. We ordered our food right away before we sat down at the bar because we had a tight schedule. The bartender was very friendly. The manager was trying to accommodate. We were finally moved to a table about 20 minutes later, but our food took 45 minutes and we had to eat it so quickly that I can't come hunt and whether or not the food was good. It made for a stressful evening when we were looking for just a nice relaxing dinner and a wonderful restaurant
Wonderful food and a great personal experience. Too much food though. Loved all of the wine options!
Fabulous artisanal Italian dishes that satisfy the palate and make for a great conversation piece with friends; also, there's always something NEW that Dino introduces.
Delicious! Excellent service! Like the atmosphere.

The food was good, but not commensurate with the price. The issue was the service. It should not take 20 minutes to get a simple cocktail after being seated. I will admit I am critical of food as I cook a lot at home and have lived in Italy. The pasta carbonara was made with buccatini and challenging to eat as the sauce was thin and watery. The pizza we had had figs and prosciutto on it and was flavorful, but it had a small orchard of figs on it. Too much and it overwhelmed. I like the ambience, but the service was slower than what I expected. It was busy night, so perhaps I need to try it again. The wine list is great and the grappa selection is decent.
