I have been to a lot of Chinese restaurants in Madison. I feel good walking in knowing I'm going to eat some fine dine Chinese food! Honestly though, polite owners and they like to check on you. Open until 2am as well for those night owls. I have been here 3 times 2 friends of mine. Both really enjoyed this place as well.Thank you for bringing good customer service, Delicacies of Asia has now become one of my favorite spots.Take care.Xie xie! :)

Great Chinese restaurant in the heart of Madison. The food was hot, fresh and loaded with flavor! Salt & pepper shrimp was my favorite! Will definitely be coming back the next time I'm coming through. Oh and they are open late Friday and Saturday!! Winner winner!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options on menu.

this restaurant always has tasty food and excellent service. the menu has a really good variety, so me (indecisive) and my (indecisive) friends always find something to eat. they have enough seating that it's never too long of a wait for a table, and the lazy susans on the round tables are really nice for a bigger group. i love getting their ramen, which i don't usually finish in one sitting, but they always offered sealable to-go containers for my leftovers.

Ordered shredded potatoes while it was as advertized it is a whole plate of shredded potoatoes with a few slices of pepper. How it is it's own entree I don't understand. It also came with a side of rice. Not a very satisfying option, maybe if you are running a marathon the next day? The beef with cumin was good along with the sauteed green beans but the individual entrees are not very well rounded you'd have to order a few for it to balance out and feel like a meal.

Ordered via doordash. I got the Karai Ramen. I receives no scallion but got red onion instead, no fishcake, no soft boiled egg which its states on the menu and the site. I really just love paying for things im not receiving. The broth is very delicate but not much flavor. It takes like chicken broth with a hint of soy sauce just for color and the chashu tastes like it was sitting around in the fridge for a few days. Dumplings are good and thats why its getting a 2 star instead of 1. Will not be a repeat customer. I am a ramen lover and this was by far not on the top of my list.

Food was okay, average really. Since we bland. Service on the slow side. Costs higher than norm. Next time it's probably keep walking by.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Food was horrible! Hair in our food. Paid over $100 on food just to barley eat any of it, left our plates full when we left. I tried or ding their “soup dumplings” but when they came to the table they were not the dumplings the lady had said! Horrible food and horrible service.

Very disappointed, sat down for 10 minutes before someone came to our table. Was asking about different food items and they gave in accurate information about the food. There was food in my hair and water and gave me a hard time when I didn’t want to pay for food I didn’t eat(because of the hair in it.) would not recommend

Very disappointing to say the least. Ordered the fish hot pot. We were served deep fried fish on a plate drenched in sweet and sour sauce. When we asked the waitress if it was the dish we ordered she assured us it was. And then when we received the check and it stated "A95 Sweet and Sour Dragonfish" we asked the waitress again if it was the dish we ordered - the fish hot pot. And again she told us we were served the fish hot pot. Another waitress overheard our discussion and also assured us that the fried fish covered in sweet and sour sauce and served on a plate was the fish hot pot. I've ordered fish hot pot from many different Asian restaurants and I know that deep fried fish filets drenched in sweet and sour sauce and served on a plate is not fish hot pot!At this point is was painfully obvious that there was a conspiracy going on between the 2 waitresses at minimum - We were purposely being lied to. Fish hot pot takes longer to prepare than most other dishes. Did someone in the kitchen or maybe even management decide not to take the time to prepare the fish hot pot and attempt to deceive us with the Sweet and Sour Dragonfly? I noticed that management responds to most reviews quickly, but after a few weeks they've yet to respond to this review. So to the owner, how's about a response - Why were we purposely deceived? We are waiting for an explanation from you.The other 2 dishes we ordered were correct. One was a shrimp dish - the shrimp were dry and the flavoring was bland. The other was a tofu dish which sounded great but the tofu had an unpleasant slimy texture to it and it was drenched in nothing more then sweet and sour sauce. Both dishes were terrible.Don't make the same mistake we made. I would rate this as the worst Asian restaurant in Madison, hands down!

Very disappointing to say the least. Ordered the fish hot pot. We were served deep fried fish on a plate drenched in sweet and sour sauce. When we asked the waitress if it was the dish we ordered she assured us it was. And then when we received the check and it stated sweet-and-sour dragonfish we asked the waitress again if it was the dish we ordered - the fish hot pot. And again she told us we were served the fish hot pot. Another waitress overheard our discussion and also assured us that the fried fish covered in sweet and sour sauce and served on a plate was the fish hot pot. I've ordered fish hot pot from many different Asian restaurants and I know that deep fried fish filets drenched in sweet and sour sauce and served on a plate is not fish hot pot! Why they lied rather than apologize and have the fish hot pot prepared for us we will never know. The dishonesty was a turn off and very insulting. The other 2 dishes we ordered were correct. One was a shrimp dish - the shrimp were dry and the flavoring was bland. The other was a tofu dish which sounded great but the tofu had an unpleasant slimy texture to it and it was drenched in nothing more then sweet and sour sauce. Both dishes were terrible. I cant say enough good things about this restaurant. All the dishes I’ve tried are great. Not to mention they are open til bar time on weekends so we go here every weekend after bars to get takeout and the woman who works the register and fulfills orders is the sweetest woman! This is a great asian restaurant with great service even when we are drunk at 2am.

Great food with generous servings. Clean and pleasant decor. The waitress was so outgoing and helpful. We will go back when in Madison. So happy with tasty vegan selections

Okay food, slow service and food overpriced for value. I went in for lunch and took 45 minutes from order to service in a restaurant with only three tables to serve and I was was there before the other two.

Disappointing. I wanted to like it because the pictures on the windows looks so good. But everything was bland. I even asked for something to spice it up and the waitress didn’t bring anything. I’ve never been to an Asian restaurant with no spicy chili to enhance the flavor.
