When we walked in, it felt clean and cozy. However, when we ordered. It took a really long time for the food to get here. They gave us the wrong food but fixed it right away. I loved the tomato hotpot, it was delicious and the servings were very generous. The spicy hotpot was also really good. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would recommend coming here for a delicious hearty meal.

Sichuan style chicken~ look like the chicken is frozen chicken from Sam’s club, just deep fried with some peppers, it’s not how is supposed to be AT ALL! Xiao Chao Rou is a Hunan cuisine which supposedly having spicy peppers, leek, garlic and pork belly, at Double 10 it surprised me with very dry pork with celery bamboo shoot, not spicy at all…. It was horrible at its finest!!!!!!! IF YOU LOOK FOR SWEET AND SOUR PANDA EXPRESS STYLE it might be ok. NEVER AGAIN

i give this restaurant a rating of 3.5 stars, rounding up to 4. i went for dinner with my family, and the food was pretty good. only thing I would say is there weren't many instructions, as we have never been to a hot pot restaurant before. we asked the waiter what to do with the sauce that had come w the noodles, and she gave us a rushed response. my sister got hot pot and ordered seaweed to come with it, but they gave her some shrimp paste thing instead, it wasn't too big of an issue as my mom liked it, and my sister just left it out of her portion. that brings up another thing: if you share your hot pot with another person, it is a 8$ charge? I myself ordered the beef Ramen, and the noodles were good, but my beef was quiet fatty, which resulted in me just avoiding the beef altogether. the dumplings with scrambled eggs and pork were very good. would we come back? probably. would i order the same thing again? probably not. (now don't get me wrong. i know, it sounds like I just listed a lot of things that i didn't like about this restaurant. but the food was quite good, and it was an overall good experience... is this the people pleaser in me talking? yes.. a little)

Possibly the most authentic Chinese food in all of Madison. The restaurant is Northeastern Chinese style, so thankfully (for me) the spice is not too spicy! Prices are great, and the flavor of each dish tastes so well composed. The food tastes like my own mother cooked it. Service is fantastic as well. Definitely please check out this locally owned restaurant!

After visiting China and eating authentic Chinese food I understood what good Chinese food is. It’s really difficult to find clean authentic Chinese food in Madison and since I’ve found Double 10 I haven’t been able to stop coming for the pineapple fried rice. This is by far the most authentic Chinese food I’ve had in all of Wisconsin and the place is clean, you can tell they take pride in the dishes they serve, Bravo!!

Amazing restaurant! I was visiting from Chicago for work and was looking for somewhere comforting to have dinner. So happy I landed at Double 10. The northeastern dishes were authentic and phenomenal. Lamb skewers and buns were delicious as well. Will absolutely come back and support my fellow Northeasterners.

I was very excited for my first time trying hotpot and the staff were extremely helpful in making menu decisions, as well as making the whole experience enjoyable, walking us step by step through the process! Would definitely recommend as not only is the food yummy, the staff is very kind.
