This was our first time trying Dough Boys Pizza. We really enjoyed the crust, it was thin and crispy like we like it. However, the pizza was delivered cold so we heated it up for about 15 minutes in the oven. About the best thing I can say is it was okay. It was far from the best pizza I've ever had but also far from the worst. Pretty middle of the road. I'm not sure we will try them again.

Always great food. Many options for fair prices. If you can, plan timing ahead a little in case they get busy since it’s a small family owned shop you won’t regret it! (Only outside dine in warmer months) 😋

Dough Boy’s is top notch. We ordered on 1/3/2026 and asked for a 5:00pm delivery. Their delivery was right on time and the 3 pizzas were hot and ready to enjoy! Their tavern style pizza and caramelized pepperoni option was fantastic! 5 stars ⭐️

Super friendly staff, fast service and excellent pizza pie. Had medium tavern crust with pepperoni and mushrooms. Ordered in person at counter for carry out. Great job guys.

Hands down the best thin crust square cut pizza in Madison. Perfectly crispy, edge to edge flavor, the sauce is amazing..one bite and I was hooked. Already planning my next order. If you haven't had it yet, you're missing out!

I like the pizza but the last time I ordered it, we went to pick it up at the time given and waited 30 minutes

I didn't dine in, we ordered delivery. We were incredibly patient with them as it had already been an hour over the estimated delivery time. After having pre-paid an order and tip, it took three hours and 3 phone calls to get our meal, after 10 pm. We were told by the delivery driver that they burned the chicken. I was also promised half of my money back on the purchase that was nearly 190.00 I've been given the run around multiple times by staff and management. As a business owner, I tend to assist my guests and help them to want to come back...obviously that won't be happening here. Would NOT recommend.

Had to try it cause all the hype and I wish I would've not. That was some horrible pizza. Madison has way better pizza spots then this place.

Hit and miss. Great food, can be some of the best pizza in Madison, but they clearly have issues with reliability and getting orders done on time. I wouldn't rely on them if you need anything by a certain time, and be ready to call and ask about your order, but the food usually has been worth the trouble

Hopefully they can figure things out on the management side, I really want them to succeed because I really like the pizza

I’ve been a huge fan of this pizza in the past—it was genuinely mind-blowing, and I often recommended it to friends. The sausage was a standout, packed with flavor, and the crust was beautifully caramelized from edge to edge.

However, my last two experiences haven’t lived up to that standard. A previous order had almost no sauce, making it unexpectedly dry, which was disappointing after hyping it up to others. Tonight, the sausage wasn’t the same—it used to be chunky and flavorful, but now it’s just standard. The caramelized crust, which I used to look forward to, is now minimal, and unfortunately, this time, the dough was a bit undercooked.

I completely understand that restaurants go through changes and that off nights happen, but after three incredible experiences and now two that missed the mark, I’m left wondering if this was just bad luck or a shift in quality. Hoping to see the pizza return to what made it special!

I ordered a thick crust sausage and pepperoni pizza from Dough Boys last Wednesday evening. The pizza was done and waiting for me when I got there. The guy at the counter was very pleasant, as usual. And, as usual, the pizza was great! They certainly give me my money’s worth when I go there, and this time was no exception. Good job, Dough Boys!!
