As a dad currently displaced into Madison from Wausau with his oldest child in the hospital down here. This place was a heaven send for bringing some comfort and atmosphere. The staff is the friendliest I've seen in a donut shop. The donuts were fresh hot and made to order I had the lemon and chocolate covered strawberry donuts. And a latte. I just was looking for good coffee. I found good coffee, amazing donuts and amazing friendly staff. I will be back at least a few more times while being down here. Its not just donuts they've got ducks too!

I’m a bakery student and needed to find a local bakery as a part of my final for the semester. I’m so excited to have found this place! They were so helpful and welcoming and the doughnuts are sooooooo good! I couldn’t help but to get one from everyone in the class! Thank you guys! You’re awesome!

Had an appointment nearby and looking to treat myself after having to fast this morning and so glad to pick Duck Donuts as the place to stop! I had one dilated eye 😜 so I was not able to enjoy the fresh donut decorating window, but there were children there enjoying seeing the donuts being made. My grandkids would love this. The donuts are freshly made to order and you can see the toppings and frosting you picked being added. My husband only likes cake donuts and that is the only kind they serve. Freshly fried and fluffy light and served warm. I ate 2 on the way home! I ordered the Breakfast box and it's a nice assortment. My husband would prefer a bit less frosting (yes, his favorite donut is a plain cake-not kidding) but, next time, he can order his that way, but he ate 3 on the way home (long drive. I ate the bacon and maple one, Yum! We both had a regular coffee and they make that from freshly ground beans, so that made for a very nice comfort treat, good coffee and good donuts. 🍩☕ ☕ 🍩 The service was friendly and they have to work quickly as it was a busy place. You can order ahead if you don't have time to wait. We got some extras for another day (or later 🤔) and would definitely stop there again. ☺️

Stopped here on a whim and loved it! The donuts were warm and fresh and watching them top them was super fun. The owner created a fun atmosphere and made some recommendations for toppings. I can't wait to try the breakfast sandwiches next!

Update: we got a free sample of the Apple Cider donut hole dippers! Absolutely delicious!! 10/10 recommend as a fall treat!

Quick note, preorder if you are in a hurry. I was a few mins late for work waiting on my donuts. Obviously it was forgiven because I brought some pretty fantastic donuts with me. They make them to order, so it does take some time, but what beats a warm donut?

The donuts are great, but there's a guy who works there every weekend morning I've been - not sure if he's the owner or manager. He's one of those people who are endlessly friendly and cheerful. So much so that I want to be grumpy at him because I'm not a morning person and haven't had my coffee yet. But he wins me over every time and I leave with a smile on my face. I appreciate you dude.
