Bad pizza. I don’t know what kind of cheese it was, but it was bad. And undercooked. You get to choose from slices that have been sitting out a while, and they slip them back in the oven for a minute. It was actually inedible. Sorry guys, but this is the truth.

I'm from NYC, so maybe I just have high standards, but...the pizza was really chewy in an undercooked kind of way. I was really hungry the night of and still managed to only eat half of one my two slices. I got white pizza and the minced garlic had a really strange smell and flavor to it. I normally don't mind biting into a chunk of garlic, but this stuff was different.
I can't really say anything about atmosphere because I was there late and there was no one there.

It's certainly one of the best places to get a slice of NYC pizza. The white and the lasagna pizza are my favorites. I will emphasize that the lasagna is definitely the best slice. Probably one of the best pizzas by the slice in the whole city.

What can I say? They live up to their namesake:
This winter break I had my friend from NYC come to visit, and of all the pizza places we tried, this is the only one she liked.
Every other place was, ''alright food... but not anything like REAL pizza.'
Then on a cold ass day, we walked in and had some of the best pizzas of our lives. She now swears by it and wants to come back. Even by her standards, the food rocks.
And to be honest? I'm not much of a food fanatic myself, So... why do I keep coming back?
Well? the family that runs this place are phenomenally nice people; give great service, are fun to talk to, and are all around just wonderful. The atmosphere, from the decorations to the music (often nice relaxing jazz), radiates such a welcoming environment.
They have great prices and if you come in for their lunch special you can get basically any two slices for less than $10. One of the better deals on state in my opinion.
Every small restaurant should strive to be as pleasant an establishment as this. I seriously can't recommend them enough.
I wish I could rate it less than one star. This place is the furthest from knowing how to make a good pizza or satisfy their customers. I spent almost $40 on two slices of pizza and a dried out piece of carrot cake. When I called immediately to let them know of my dissatisfaction I got the typical Millennial answer, “You need to call someone else to complain”. The pizza restaurant actually tried to put the blame on Slice, The app that they use to conduct their business. Somehow they think that Slice will take care of all of their operational shortcomings and issue refunds for them. I called Eat The Best Pizza twice to get this resolved. Nobody apologized for the quality of the food and were very quick to refer me to the Slice Customer service number. After tax, tip, service charge, and delivery fee, I paid $39.14 for this CRAP!!!! And when I called to complain they actually tried to blame me for it being burnt because I asked for extra toppings, Which required it to be re-cooked in the oven. UmWhat?
They obviously do not know what they’re doing and nor do they care. Tread cautiously with this place. There is much better available
