Edit: In response to the reply from the owner. I was not offered it to be remade at all. They said they could offer a credit, however, as I explained I’m not from the area and did not plan to come back at all. Credit and remaking an order r two different things. The food made me sick after barely eating any…as pictured below. I have felt sick for the past two hours and the only thing I’ve had is this food. The guy on the phone was rude and had an attitude. When I contacted eats streets they said the establishment had to process the refund. When they had tried to call they said the store was unreachable and closed. I do not recommend here at all especially after reading other reviews and responses from the owner. No experience eating food should leave u feeling Ill and like their is a rock settled in ur stomach from how heavy it is.Not scilian style for one also completely and the slices were undercooked and the garlic knots burnt. The order was cold, I don’t even think it was warmed up with how cold it was. When I called to get a refund the guy was completely rude and refused! 0/10 would recommend as it is not worth it all. Wasted my time and money that looks as if I won’t get back and felt sick after barely eating any of it.

Having lived in Manhattan for a decade, I’m here to say that this is the closest anyone is going to get in Madison, WI to a true New York City slice of pizza. Al, who hails from the Bronx, runs a tight ship; the place is clean, and there is plenty of table space and booths seating. The pies are fresh, with myriad specialty topping choices, the likes of which one would find in an NYC pizzeria. My slices were piping hot, molten specimens of beauty; the crust was a little gooey, a little crispy, never burned. I’ll be back, and plan to bring a crew.

I found this place while walking around the UW Madison campus and decided to have a slice of pizza here. The name of this pizza place is the way I would describe the entire place. The pizza I had was phenomenal, the service I had was excellent and the environment is perfect. Definitely a place I would recommend if you're looking for some good pizza.

This place is worth trying. The pizza is wonderful and an excellent value. I should also mention that this is a New York style pizza. The crust is tender and the sauce is flavorful. Certainly one of the best pizzas in the city.

Be prepared to be rushed. We did not get a good idea of what was available and just blindly picked a slice. One slice was still cold even after they claimed to have placed it in the oven. It was basically OK.

The pizza is incredible it's like having the classic NY slice in the middle of Madison. The margherita is done just as it should be fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. Also grab a slice as well, the marinara is robust and just packed with flavor. When you are in the mood for pizza eat here.
