Got disrespected for being a tourist
They had the game on stupidly loud. Like 6 people in the place, none watching it. No prices on the drinks. Somehow, 2 beers and a french fry cost $21. Its a dive bar, but the prices don't match. There is a sign to wait to be seated, and then the bar tender yells something (couldn't hear due to the TV) indicating sit wherever. This place is an overpriced mess, and I left with a headache.
Food was amazing, their patio is super cute, able to hear other tables but not loud to where you can’t have a convo within your own table (came on a Wednesday evening beginning of June) My server Jessi - AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL!! Gave the best reviews of my choice of drink/food, so friendly, nice & made sure all the tables outside (about 8-10) were taken care of & was the absolute sweetest to my dog. Ended our day on a positive note because of Jessi!!
Try it, you might like it.
Nice bar for yummy food! Had the onion rings and they were the best onion rings I've had!
Great stop, walking distance and outside was dog friendly. Spicy cheese curds are not for the faint of heart lol.

Good food. Good staff. Nice outdoor patio. Indoor is very loud.
Parking: Free street parking. It's a gamble whether you find a parking spot right by the place. Has sidewalks.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp up to the door. I'm not sure if you need to go inside to access the outdoor patio.

So it was my first time at a badgers game. Only came from Milwaukee so it wasn’t far at all. About an hour, maybe a Wii bit longer. I was with my friend and we both ordered food. I was there Saturday the 7th, it’s the 9th and I for some reason still have a “hold” on my card for this transaction. Seriously $9 and it’s almost been 3 FULL days?! The manager said it should go into effect by 5am the next morning. Soooo what’s going on?!.

Great food. Great service. Other than the incessant horn sound of some equipment nearby the patio was a phenomenal setting.

I’ve been here many times and usually I am satisfied with our experience, recently I’ve been here a few times with my friend and have had nothing but poor service, tonight was the final straw, service was unwelcoming and unpleasant. We came in to order food and were immediately welcomed by an employee who was extremely rude. We shrugged it off but were later welcomed by more disrespectful staff. I used to really enjoy this bar but tonight was the last time I’ll step foot in this place.

Another great option for dining downtown, especially in late September if you like to sit outside. Pleasant & relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced very tasty food, and great service. Jessie was friendly and even though the place was hopping, she never acted rushed and even took the time to answer my questions about Madison, the menu, and life in general. Awesome experience and I’ll be back!
