So it was my first time at a badgers game. Only came from Milwaukee so it wasn’t far at all. About an hour, maybe a Wii bit longer. I was with my friend and we both ordered food. I was there Saturday the 7th, it’s the 9th and I for some reason still have a “hold” on my card for this transaction. Seriously $9 and it’s almost been 3 FULL days?! The manager said it should go into effect by 5am the next morning. Soooo what’s going on?!.

I’ve been here many times and usually I am satisfied with our experience, recently I’ve been here a few times with my friend and have had nothing but poor service, tonight was the final straw, service was unwelcoming and unpleasant. We came in to order food and were immediately welcomed by an employee who was extremely rude. We shrugged it off but were later welcomed by more disrespectful staff. I used to really enjoy this bar but tonight was the last time I’ll step foot in this place.

Another great option for dining downtown, especially in late September if you like to sit outside. Pleasant & relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced very tasty food, and great service. Jessie was friendly and even though the place was hopping, she never acted rushed and even took the time to answer my questions about Madison, the menu, and life in general. Awesome experience and I’ll be back!

Mini corn dogs were good and cheese curds were ok. Of the 3 places we had curds in Madison theirs were 3rd best. Mainly just a cheese stick cut up and fried so it didn’t have the melty stringy that is in a great fried cheese curd. Many drunks which I know isn’t their fault but guy screaming, jumping, and clapping was a bit much.

This place rocks. Honestly I love this bar. The food rocks, especially the cheese curds. They have an awesome selection of beers on tap. And the service is always so friendly. The girl who serves upstairs during trivia rocks. Speaking of which they have an awesome trivia program every Thursday that is always so popping, typically have to get there by 6:30 to get a table and by 6:45 they are turning people away because it’s packed. Probably even busier during the school year. Echo tap rocks.

The patio is absolutely wonderful! Food is good. Hmmm, but the service was really disappointing and it just took too long to get a second drink, to get a to-go box, and to get the bill. And the drinks - hmmm, every bartender should know how to make a good old fashioned. Also disappointing. I was there on a recent Sunday (July 7).
