First time here. Had no idea they existed. Pleasantly surprised when I exited woodmans. Wanted to get some treats for the family for after school and this was the perfect thing. Got some cookies/galletas and Tres Leches w/ peach. Sooooooo goood! Can’t wait until the next visit to try even more things.

This bakery is absolutely lovely :) There is a very large variety of pastries and baked goods to select from and they are all equally delicious! The staff are very kind and accommodating as well. I would be remiss if I did not mention the coffee. It is magnificent! Probably the best coffee I’ve ever had at a bakery.

It was a deliciously delightful experience to visit this place. They have so many tasty treats it can be hard to choose sometimes what you want because there’s so many to pick from. Having one of their pan dulces with a warm cup of their cinnamon flavored coffee on a cold morning is just the right way to bring you back to life on a Saturday morning. If you’re going to have an event I would recommend ordering a chocoflan or tres leches cake as those two are bound to be party pleasers. I love this place and I can’t recommend it enough, bring your date, bring your mom, or just treat yourself here I promise you won’t regret it.

Great Mexican bakery, it's small but has a great selection. The pastries are fresh and delicious. Also, the owners are very sweet and friendly! I've been a few times and will definitely be back.

I recently ordered a tres leches cake for my daughters birthday and it was amazing! I’m not a big fan of cake because they’re usually overly sweet, but this cake was just sweet enough and the chantillí frosting was not overly sweet and very airy. My daughter loved the Princess Peach decor, it was so cute! I’m very happy they were able to make it within less than a week from ordering! Definitely will be getting my cakes from here. The churros are also very delicious and the staff is very friendly!

They have several options of pastries and churros. We ended up with a concha (mildly sweet big bun), an ojo (the center bun is a sweet muffin type with kind of like an elephant ear wrapped around it), and this chocolate flan cake.Delicious! I loved that everything was sweet, but not cloyingly and unique. The prices are about $1-$2 per item and they had tasty coffee to go with it.Great customer service and friendly staff. This is a good spot for a group of up to 8 people as well. Stop here before grocery shopping at Woodman's!

Nothing beats a paper bag full of assorted pan dulce from El Hornito. We make a point to stop in whenever we're in the area and are never disappointed. They have a wide assortment of classic Mexican baked goods, supplemented with more traditionally European sweets such as frosted cupcakes and chocolate croissants. Everything is fresh and flavorful, from their surprisingly tender conchas to their unparalleled besos. The service is very friendly and you can tell the owners take immense pride in their work. All in all, a much-welcome addition to the Far West Side.

This has easily become my boyfriend and my favorite panaderia in Madison. They have a wide assortment of classic Mexican baked goods, including ojos de buey which I don't always see in bakeries, supplemented with more traditionally European sweets such as frosted cupcakes and filled croissants. Everything is fresh and flavorful, from their surprisingly tender conchas to their unparalleled besos. The service is very friendly and you can tell the owners take immense pride in their work. The setting is fairly quiet, perhaps it will become more bustling as more people find out about this little gem, but I for one don't mind the tranquility. All in all, a much-welcome addition to the Far West Side.
