I just had the most delicious item of food I’ve had in a long time. I love a masa quesadilla and this was perfection, it was the perfect balance of cheese and flor de calabaza (squash flower) The “quesadilla hecho a mano” was perfect with a bit of lettuce, sour cream and tomato. I wanted another.

The building is nice and the chicken in the fajitas was good, but that’s the end of it. They did not have any Queso when we went. They charge for a refill of chips and salsa. The fajitas had about a teaspoon of sour cream drizzled over the lettuce and about a tablespoon of guacamole on the plate. So the fajitas were VERY dry.
We would not go again!!

04/23/2025 Ate here for the first time yesterday afternoon. Absolutely authentic and delicious meals. The restaurant was much, much larger than I expected. The interior décor gives it an extra special ambience and everything was very clean. Friendly, attentive staff. Too bad we're not smart enough to speak Spanish. (Should've taken my nephew with me.) 😁 Highly recommend. We know we'll be going back there! 849 Northport Dr in Madison, WI - where Benvenuto's used to be.

Love their cart at the farmers’ markets, but the menu didn’t translate in a restaurant setting for us. Tacos and tamales are great.
I ordered a margarita and it was just sprite and tequila. Didn’t see any other reviews mention that. Didn’t drink it.
