We had a wonderful time. We miss this restaurant terribly. So discouraged that Food Fight closed this establishment. The margarita menu was to die for, the tempura corn appetizer was second to none. Our server was knowledgeable, kind and attentive. A huge loss for Madison. So glad we discovered it when we did and we're able to eat there a few times.

Overall a good experience. Our server was wonderful she did very well. The back of the Ouse seemed to be in a bit of disarray. The food was good however they did forget one of our persons food and they got the other one just wrong. That person didn't notice. I think it was a bad day for the back of the house but will go back again

We used to LOVE El Dorado. Through the years the menu has changed and the service has gone steadily down hill. They work hard, I simply think they're short staffed but either way, the service is well-below average here in Madison.

We have been here many times since it re-opened. There has been a huge turnover in the staff. Food quality is good, but even when ordering the same dish, it is served differently each time. They need to become more consistent with the food and the service.

A group of 6 out for date night and restaurant week. It was hard to hear conversation between us. Food was delicious but slow service. 30 minute wait for appetizers and 1/2 of us was served dessert with the other 1/2 waiting. We probably caught them on an off night.

We booked a table for Restaurant Week and were very impressed with our appetizers and entrees. Sadly the desserts were extremely disappointing. The "lemon" cake had no lemon flavor and tasted as though it was baked, sliced and refrigerated without being covered for days prior. It was so dry. The "churro" cheesecake was the same way and didn't taste anything like a churro. It actually had very little taste. Luckily we don't normally order dessert. We would highly recommend adding the Chorizo nachos to the menu. They were outstanding!

I love going to restaurant week and Eldorado Grill did not disappoint! The weather was breezy and even though we sat inside, it felt cool and airy. Our waiter was great and very patient, as my friend and I arrived and different times. I enjoyed each part of the meal and my friend and I shared both are choices so we got to try a variety. I definitely recommend it!

Came here for my boyfriend's birthday during restaurant week. Everything was absolutely delicious! The only thing that could have been improved was the ambiance and maybe some more decor!

Menu items SOUND good. . . But not well executed. Had Restaurant Week $30 price fixe meal. Selected Chorizo Nachos appetizer, Spinach and Mushroom enchiladas entree, and Churro-inspired cheesecake dessert. Appetizer was the best part of the meal, a small tray of chips with a sprinkle of chorizo and pickled onions. Entree was underwhelming. Three, 4-inch corn tortillas wrapped around tough mushroom stems with tasteless spinach. Salsa Verde topping was sweet, not aromatic, spicy, or tart. Black beans topped with pickled red onion were sugary sweet also. Cilantro rice was okay - only entree item that had a savory, rather than sweet, flavor. Cheesecake was meh, gummy with a whiff of cinnamon and a too-thick crust. Service was good.

Restaurant week meal was a huge disappointment. I felt like I was in a family diner. Loud. And the food was mediocre at best. I couldn't believe our bill at the end, that we had paid that much money for what we ate. I had the brisket, it was tough and fat. The best thing of the evening were the cocktails and the dessert.

If you are used to the Kevin Tubb days you will certainly be disappointed. Came into town excited to go to our favorite place but wow, the food has gone downhill and the ambiance has gone stale. So sad to see this once great restaurant take such a dive.

They take reservations on the weekend which was helpful! We did the dinner for two and ordered the tres salsas as our dip - the serrano salsa was very spicy!! Not enough chips delivered with the salsa and more chips didn't come until our food came out (at which point we were eating that instead). Ordered steak fajitas and the pork quesadilla - both meats were very tender, pork had better flavoring than the steak! I substituted the rice for elote style corn - was very good although small (I would have been disappointed if I paid the $5 for the extra side of corn vs. substituted) Both were great and portion sizes were huge - we were sad that our hotel fridge /lack of microwave wouldn't accommodate taking leftovers home. Had the ice box cheesecake for dessert - the cookie/cheesecake/caramel were good, the Chantilly cream had no flavor (I don't think it was actually Chantilly cream, just whipped heavy cream with no sugar/vanilla). They let us take the dessert to go, which was very helpful as we were super full after the great entrees. Overall a very positive experience!

The food is amazing but best of all is their kind approach. I went to this restaurant last night and was so pleased with how I was treated with my walker, how they problem solved, how kind and thoughtful all the staff was.

Nice touch to have manager come to our table and see how we were doing and ask how the first few bites were. The menu has been reduced since I was there last. Didn't detour the taste. Still very good.
