Best old school diner in the Madison area. I've eaten here (usually with my family) MANY times. Food is consistently good. Service is friendly and welcoming. Prices are affordable. What's not to love?! We usually are here for breakfast, but if you're getting lunch, try their fries!

Chili, chefs kiss! Large dining hall with a kitschy theme. Waitress knew her stuff & gave good suggestions. Really good fries and tuna sandwich was a classic.

Had a great experience here when my wife and I took off work right before Christmas. Was not super busy when we got there at about 8 am that Friday but it slowly picked up while we were there. Food tasted really good. Server was very friendly and gave the perfect level of service by talking us through the menu and waiting on us and checking on us when needed. It looks fairly recently renovated so it has a nice relaxing vibe on the inside. Talking with the waitress everything is made to order and a lot of it is their own recipes. My wife had a skillet and it was chock full of meat, eggs and potatoes with their own house made hollandaise sauce. My burrito was sausage and egg with American cheese, I would probably have picked a different cheese but it was still a very very good breakfast burrito. Places like this are really under represented. It has a small time vibe and very fair prices. If you have a chance please stop in here and try to support your local small business owner. I would rather go here than any Ihop or Deny's every single time.
