I roast my own. If my roaster needs maintenance, I get EVP.

With the nice weather and surroundings, I would recommend everyone to come and try mocha, latte, and matcha here. A lot of good and friendly staffs've worked there for a long time. There're free wifi access and good spot for reading.

This is my favorite, I drive 1 1/2 hours a couple times a month to come here to work and have a dark roast Thor and but some beans to take home. Always excellent service, always excellent coffee! Always a steady stream of what appears to be regulars. You get that for a reason.

We live in the Westmorland neighborhood on the near west side of Madison We have been EVP patrons for two decades. The founder and owner Tracy Danner developed and delivers the experience! Richest, full bodied coffee in town. On top of that, a cool, community based vibe that is second to none. In a society that is increasingly disconnected with ordering by phone apps and being served in a drive up with someone donning a headset, EVP delivers with a personal, caring touch.Brian Tennant

I have been visiting this coffee shop since it opened. The coffee is roasted in small batches and is always fresh, the quantity used for drinks is always generous (so you can taste it!), and the service is consistently excellent! Best of all, the baristas and owner are always friendly and patient. This little shop is always a bright spot in my day. In fact, it is probably the best coffee palace I have ever been in!!!Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome on foot, in strollers, with or without bunny rabbits or teddy bears.Parking: The shop

It used to be my regular stop for coffee whenever I go to the library.I used to like it. I always ask them to add honey before adding coffee.Yesterday I went and asked them the same to my surprise they are going to charge for honey. The coffee cost $2.75 and the final price for honey was $3.50. I dropped my plans and left the shop. I agree your coffee is far better than any other place in madison. But the thing that happened yesterday was expected. Most of the people replace sugar with honey.

Great coffee - best I’ve had - and always excellent and friendly service. EVP is also a great place to hang out and eat the amazing pastry. The beans are great, too!
