Walked in at 8:15 to have dinner because a friend recommended this place. Have to say I’m pretty disappointed. Not a hello or how are you…yet we were greeted by what seemed to be a pretty cranky server. Got sat and was immediately told we had 15 minutes to order, along with being told they aren’t doing any drinks except tea and were out of a bunch of stuff. I’m not even upset that they ran out of certain menu items, I’m upset that we were given the most unwelcoming greeting out of any place I’ve ever been in Madison. I work in the restaurant industry and have never greeted anyone that came in semi late like that. Got up and left before the server could even come back. Safe to say we drove to a new restaurant, got sat, and already had our full meal and drinks by 8:40. Oh and we were actually greeted with a hello and how are you.

Just got potstickers, they were greasy, not much filling, and not even crimped.
Very disappointing.
Take out

We got there an hour and a half before they close, it wasn't busy at all, and yet the waiter had to come back to the table three times because they were out of everything we tried to order, literally every kind of dumpling they sell, save for one order of pot stickers so we just ordered appetizers too. Six pot stickers and 4 pork steam buns (not actually buns, more like tacos) and all we were was $50 lighter. The food was good what little you could get, there are certainly better options to be had.

Disappointed....nice atmosphere....tea cold...have to pay for refills on soda, brought wrong soda twice...bought variety of food to try...average, not busy on a Saturday night...not a good sign

An Explosion of Flavor – A True Culinary Gem!

Feast Artisan Dumplings is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you step inside, you’re enveloped in warmth, artistry, and the intoxicating aroma of handcrafted magic. Every dumpling on the menu is a masterpiece—delicate yet hearty, thoughtfully composed, and bursting with bold, unforgettable flavor.

I don’t know what kind of sorcery they’re working with in the kitchen, but the texture, the fillings, the dipping sauces—chef’s kiss! Whether you’re savoring the spicy lamb, the mushroom truffle, or the juicy pork with broth that practically dances on your tongue, each bite tells a story of tradition and innovation coming together in perfect harmony.

The attention to detail here is phenomenal—from the plating to the service to the playlist humming gently in the background. It’s clear that this isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. The staff are as passionate as the food is delicious, and they’re always ready to offer a recommendation or a kind smile.

Feast has ruined me for all other dumplings. It’s not just a meal—it’s a moment. Go hungry, go with friends, and prepare to fall in love one dumpling at a time.

Excellent food. Very poor service. Our server forgot about us and forgot to put our order in. Long wait , excellent food. They were out of several items on the menu which was disappointing.

Nice date night dinner. Very friendly and attentive service. Soup dumplings were delicious as well as the wontons (which were nicely spicy) and pork buns. Interior decor was very nice and the red lights made the vibes romantic! Cocktails were also pretty solid — especially the old fashioned and lychee martini.

Asked for recommendation and ordered beed taco bao and the beef curry bao. Hands down, the beef taco bao was absolutely better than I thought it would be. I would definitely order that again!

Couldn’t decide between 3 or 4, but giving 4 because servers were very pleasant. Tofu bao buns were delicious. I ended up getting the vegetarian rice bowl which was tasty enough, but admittedly I should’ve gotten a dumpling plate since that is their specialty. Down marks were their drinks. My friend got a specialty iced tea and i got the Old Shanghai (their take on a traditional old-fashioned). Cocktail was not pleasant at all, but my friend mentioned his tea to staff who were VERY kind about offering something else. Overall, a little slow on getting plates out, but great atmosphere and friendly workers with other tasty-sounding dishes. All worth a second try :)
