I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars, so let's call this a 3.5 star rating (rounding up instead of down for the excellent service). My husband and I had reservations on Friday night and came a little early for a drink at the bar. The wine list was AMAZING, and my husband loved his old fashioned. We were seated and offered warm bread. The bread (sourdough) was really good, but what I really loved were the butters that it came with. There was a pumpkin spread, and (my favorite) a champagne infused brie. It was holy delicious! For an appetizer, we got pork belly with goat cheese grits. The pork belly was good, but not among the best I've had. What was amazing were the goat cheese grits! I could have licked the plate clean! My husband and I both ordered the Angus ribeye with the shareable mashed potatoes. Fleming's offers complimentary compound butter on top of their steaks. They have 3 different options, I got the bernaise butter, the butter added SO much extra flavor to my steak without being overpowering. The steak itself was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were REALLY good. We got creme brûlée for dessert, and it was very good and a nice sized portion. My only negative feedback is that for the price, there are way better steak restaurants in town that have more personality. Fleming's definitely has that chain restaurant feel, albeit a very nice chain restaurant. The steaks are the same price as some of the high end steakhouses downtown, but not nearly as good in my opinion. As I said, the service was great! Our server Chelsea was friendly and helpful without feeling over the top or fake. She did a great job! All and all we had a great experience, will be back but maybe just for happy hour.

I ate here for Thanksgiving. Each course was delectable. Their bread was warm, soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside. The lobster bisque was rich and creamy with generous chunks of lobster. Their traditional Thanksgiving courses were also up to standards. Ambiance is fancy and relaxing. Service was good, too. I'd love to go back and try their regular menu!

My first time here left a lasting impression. Overall, the food was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive and professional. The steak was one of the best I've had in Madison (so far) and the sides we ordered were as equally delicious (cheesy potatoes, mac n cheese, and Brussel sprouts). The wait staff was very knowledgeable about their food menu, cocktails and wine selections. They were also very attentive to our party (luckily it wasn't a busy evening by any means). We had a great dinner at Flemings. It's a pretty pricey place, but that's to be expected for a high-end steak house like Flemings. For a couple side notes, make a reservation beforehand and try to avoid going on Badger game days.

A great place if you are celebrating a special day. The drinks are especially good. Hospitality is great. Try the tasty desserts too.

Food was good, not spectacular. prices are high. Service was good. Was hoping for a little more memorable experience for the price.

This is one of my favorite places, but not for steak. It's an excellent place for crab legs, and that's always my go-to.

We were gifted a card to be used at Outback Steak house and when our GPS lead us here, we decided to try it. What a fantastic fine

As always a real safe bet. Great food and service

Food was fantastic, service was a little slow due to it being a Badger home game. Would have given it a 5 if they handled the timeliness of the service better.

Really amazing food. A little pricey, but worth it if you can afford it. Wait staff is very attentive and helpful. Food is cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

It is a chain in the best way. We have had great times here with young kids in tow. Steaks never disappoint and great wine selection. When naming best steaks in Madison I always consider Flemings, then quickly put the “not from a chain” disclaimer in.

We visited with family and came here for dinner. Our appetizer and meals were excellent, this was a great choice and we were very pleased. We really hope to return again someday. I highly recommend!

This was my first visit. One of the best steaks I have had in Madison! My wife's filet mignon was prepared perfectly based on our waiter Trevor's recommendations. He did a great job taking care of us and also helped us narrow down the wine list. Our steaks took a little longer to come to the table (but honestly we didn't notice), the manger came over to apologize and gave us our bottle of wine on the house. It was overall a really great date night and we will be going back.

If you like dry aged prime steaks, this is the place. The host staff and front of the house staff are all friendly and well trained, and attend to all of one's wants and needs. There are a vast array of steaks from which to choose, as well as chops, seafood, dinner salads and other items as well. They have a decent wine list and great cocktails. They also have plenty of free parking. This is one of the top steakhouses in Madison!

Recently went to Fleming's for an anniversary and had a wonderful experience. Every member of the staff we interacted with wished us a happy anniversary. The crab cakes were amazing and filled with lots of lump crab meat. The steak was cooked to perfection and our dessert (a deconstructed s'more) was fun and tasty. Overall, the service was incredible and we felt so special the entire time. Would recommend to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion!
