Love this place - I go every morning. Best drip coffee I’ve had in a long time. Friendly staff, big space, and my favorite part is the room with chairs for reading.

This spot has great coffee, im a bug fan of their espresso drinks and that they put my cortado in a cute fancy glass. I like the variety of seating options and the spaciousness of the atmosphere and there's a great selection of board games and card games! Ive not tried their alcohol selection but it also looks like rich quality and variety.

Good coffee and nice lady that served it. I always get black coffee with a couple shots
My wife gets the fancied up stuff.
Regardless we were happy with visiting here

This place is so chill. I love to come here to study. The cold brew is phenomenal and the chairs are actually comfortable.

Local coffee shop very involved with the neighborhood and interested in building relationships with people in the community. Customer service can be hit or miss. Coffee is good but never hot; always served tepid.

I’m new to the coffee world but I have to say their coffee was excellent—smooth, rich, and crafted.

What really stood out, though, was the service. Emily, the barista who helped me, was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, patient, and had great recommendations for drinks and food. She made me feel genuinely welcome, and we talked from the register until she handed my drink and food out!

I’ll definitely be coming back for the coffee and the outstanding service Emily provided. Highly recommend!

The pastry was a little soggy but I do like their coffee and willing to give other baked goods a try

Came for beer for a beer fest pre-party. The staff was literally the nicest humans ever! Had a special tiramisu cheesecake that was super awesome!

The coffee is just ok but there’s consistently space and it’s conducive to bringing a laptop which is a huge plus. The patio is nice when the weather is good and has a fireplace for the winter.

The “sweet & creamy” cold brew is a solid choice if you want something fast or dairy free that isn’t black coffee.

A large portion of the menu is craft beer which might be nice for some.

Cute & cozy local spot with a fun selection of beer, coffee, matcha, and more. Great place to read, meet up with a friend or get some work done. On nice summer days you can find a spot near the open garage door windows for some fresh air; in winter it's cozy and welcoming.

If you're into sweet coffee drinks, I'd recommend their flavored cold brews! They have 4 options to try, with at least one that's diary free (although I wish all were!).

Not too much for food, but there are usually some pastries and packaged snacks for purchase if you need a little something to snack on.

Great cold brew, they also have 5 and 8 oz servings and flights of cold brew. Beer selection looked great too.

I was down in Madison this weekend with a friend and we stopped at Forward Craft & Coffee on our way out of town. We were greeted by the barista (I wish I would have gotten her name but she is from Seattle so that should help) as though we were long time friends and she took such great care explaining to us what was available in our drinks and making sure we got drinks that appealed to us.

The vibe at Forward is so friendly and welcoming. I can see that this would be a great place to hang with friends. While we were there specifically for coffee, they had some great options for beers too.

Speaking of coffee, we each ordered a hot drink and a cold drink and all tasted amazing. Just the right amount of espresso, milk, and syrups. We will definitely be back!!

I attended an Esperanto meetup here. (Saluton, Esperanto-Societo de Madisono) Although it seems like most people come for the coffee, I leaned toward the Craft side. They have a nice selection of beers on tap. The seating is small two person tables and basic chairs. Luckily my group was able to pull a few together so we could chat in Esperanto. When I am back in Madison on the 2nd Saturday of the month, I will have to return for some beer and Esperanto at Forward Craft & Coffee.
