Wish it was open more hours again...
I completely understand that the cafeteria is closed - but the store across from the cafeteria appears to be open to the public. Being that I am spending hours at the hospital I didn’t think it would be unreasonable to get a small snack after driving three hours to get here. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the man in there were not so rude! He asked if I worked at the hospital and I said that I did not. Then he told me that I was not allowed to be in the store and I apologized and proceeded to walk out of the store- he then followed me out of the store while telling me that was why there is a sign in front of the cafeteria that says closed in a very ignorant tone. The sign clearly states that the cafeteria is closed and is across the hall and down further from the store. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to be nice to people! It took him more time and energy to follow up with his ignorant remark.

Portion size goes down as the prices go up. If you smart bring food from home. Also they barely carry Babcock hall ice cream anymore.
It's a cafeteria not a cafe. Expect long waits for food with high prices served by bored uncaring employees.
Although a residence hall dining facility, it looks and feels more like a restaurant, and apparently (according to their social media pages) is open to visitors as well as students and staff. Large patio outside with a fire pit that is effectively lakeside, although a little setback from the shore. We had a catered dinner here with a large group attending a meeting at the university, and the food and service were both pretty good. Wouldn't mind coming back to try out the menu items...
