Delicious food, and more importantly, a perfect whiskey old fashioned! The chicken piccata and clam, sausage, and leek pizza were both to die for (pictured is HALF of the piccata serving because they were kind enough to split it for my husband and me). Elevated gastro pub is the perfect description for this spot. Upbeat, family-friendly, but still perfect for a date night or watching sports.

This restaurant is a great place to enjoy fresh oysters and freshly baked pizza. The oysters are delicious, and the pizza comes out hot and perfectly cooked. They also offer a wide variety of alcoholic drinks, so there’s plenty to choose from.

The prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get, which makes it a great spot to visit at least once. Just keep in mind that it can get pretty busy during dinner time, so plan ahead and give yourself some extra time. Also, they do not take reservations, so seating is first-come, first-served.

Definitely worth checking out!

Have been here a few times now. Food does not disappoint. ELEVATED gastro pub fare with a quintessential WI vibe. LOVE IT! Great place to take family and friends visiting from out-of-town or to make it your local watering hole.

We’ve been going here since Gates & Brovi opened, and have always loved it. But over the last year or two a few problems have emerged. First, the burgers and sandwiches are far too packed with ingredients and they turn out to be a complete slippery mess to eat. Doesn’t help when servers agree and just bring a stack of napkins and say that’s just the way it is. Second, the menu needs an update - it’s hardly changed for the last few years. Third, the cost for a glass of wine is too much - beer costs are affordable, but wine is not. Great setting, and overall, excellent staff - but management seems to be taking things for granted.

Food was good, I like that they make it from scratch but parking difficult. Drove around the surrounding neighborhoods for a good 15 minutes before parking about half a mile away. It was also very crowded but died down significantly within an hour of being there.
I would say the cheese curds were good, but not amazing. The ranch that came with them was great.
It was a bit on the pricey side, but that is most likely do to everything being made in house and the location.

Ordered 2 kinds of pizza and both were bad. So oily, and felt we were just eating tomato puree. The soup was great, burgers too sweet for an Asian . No spice at all in any food.
The atmosphere is lovely but its your people who make it more memorable.

First time visit. Ordered the shrimp po' boy with fries. The thin, crispy fries were excellent. Unfortunately, the sandwich was very disappointing as the crusty baguette was cut in half, causing the contents to spill out at first bite. Plus, not only were there too few shrimp included for the price, but they were really tiny - 51-60 per pound. There was more flavor from the onion and tomato. A possible return visit may be in the future, but the lack of parking might change my mind.

The bartenders in late 2025 would rather you not bother them. Or look at them. Or ask for a menu. Been going here about 10 years and the staff’s attitude has really taken a dive lately. Maybe they’re also perplexed about the $17 burger, cold fries, and nearly rotten greens they served.
