A great local brewery, Jess and Erika have put together a wonderful operation! I'm so proud of you guys and so privileged to have the opportunity to help your business grow and thrive.

Thanks for having me and I wish you great success for years to come!

If you like Belgian style beer - you will love their brews. So happy to have a local source that can compete with the likes of Duvel & la Chouffe - lower carbon footprint consumption plus you can return the large format bottles to the brewery for credit. Tasting room has a great vibe as well - hope these gals never change!

How on Earth have I not written a review about this place by now after all the times I've visited?! Giant Jones makes the best beer in the Midwest, and I can say that as someone Cicerone certified who has worked in many breweries throughout the USA. Jessica comes up with styles I've never even heard of, and they are all fantastic, strong, and ORGANIC! Erica is so enthusiastic and friendly, and Mari, Kate, and Drew are wonderful bartenders, each with their own personality and quirks that shine. And the affordable price?! $8 for a 10oz pour of the best 11% barleywine I've ever had WHICH INCLUDED TAX AND TIP?!!! I'd be paying well over $13 for that elsewhere!! If you're looking for good food, show up for pizza Wednesdays! Otherwise, make sure you bring your own food, and just take note that if you prefer domestic beer, that all beer is 7% ABV or higher. For all you seasoned beer aficionados like me, THIS PLACE IS A BUCKET LISTER! The amount of people I've talked to in Madison who have never heard of Giant Jones just blows my mind, and are always amazed when they visit the first time. Do yourself a favor and check them out if you love beer and are in the region. You know I'll be back again soon, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Had a great time visiting. They had several styles I haven't tried before after visiting many breweries across the country.

Notable beers and a spirit of fun. One of the pleasures of staying in Madison for a good visit is the opportunity to return to Giant Jones to try many of their impressive strong beers. None of them are heavy or boozy — they are each complex and drinkable but finish dry and light. (If that makes you think of wine, well, you can have wines here too, but these beers are a don’t miss in your beverage journey). The American Barleywine and the Belgian Dark Strong are classic — while they have a version a a Wit beer reimagined as a citrusy strong ale that is delightful and like nothing from the old world. All kinds of fun brews to taste as you hang out in this charming little brewery. (Oh, and if they have not yet sold out of the limited production Adam Bier, seize the moment!) All this and certified organic, women-owned and no tipping. Damn.

I've probably had about 10 of their beers at this point, and only one was great. Worse, it's not that the other 9 were average, but they were bland, uninteresting, and poorly made. They may take over from the Parched Eagle as the worst brewers in Madison history!

Alright....small quaint brewery with excellent beer choices. The owners are great and down to earth... very personable. This place is clean and trendy. Also, the tables and benches are real wood with wheels, and they are beautiful. Dog friendly, which is always a plus. Every beer that I have by this place is very solid. I'm glad I finally made it to GJB. It's worth the stop...for sure.
