I was really excited to find an Italian deli. Unfortunately I comment on the food as the staff tuned us off right away. Completly ignored by eveyone whrn we entered- and we were the only ones there. A simple Hi goes a long way when it's your first time in the store. And salsa on chicken?

Ignore the Karen that was crying about them not having potato salad in her review, this place is a great deli. The food is great, the people are nice, and the prices are reasonable. Just be warned - their giardiniera is HOT! Your lips will be burning. I had the hot Italian beef sandwich, and I will definitely be back again.

My dad introduced me and my siblings to Gino's over 15 years ago, when we used to stop there quite a bit for our lunch breaks.
I'm so glad they are not only still around but still serving the high-quality food I remember them by!

We ordered a small meatball sub and a large something else. Both were okay, but nothing stood out. The staff didn’t seem very friendly. The bread was a bit too soft and lacked the chewiness we were hoping for. The meatballs were just average, and the tomato sauce was fine. Unfortunately, we were charged for a large sub instead of the small size. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience, so we probably wouldn’t return.

My favorite place to grab lunch or take out for an Italian dinner any day of the week. Love the sandwiches, pasta dishes and salads. The staff is efficient yet still friendly. All around a not so hidden Madison gem as witnessed by the full parking lunch at lunch time.
