Always got flavors I can't get enough of. They had lychee and it had actual pieces of lychee in it!!! Absolutely fantastic and my favorite ice cream place around the capitol.

A dazzling array of ice cream flavors to suit different taste buds - right from the Philippine ice cream to the lychee ice cream. The macadamia chocolate was a high point .

Would rather just walk to Kilwin’s (better service) or Chocolate Shoppe (better ice cream and prices)$6 for a single scoop is wild, having to wait 15+ minutes with one group ahead of you is

Lovely cafe to stop in for ice cream! We got the Kids double scoop of PB Cup and Blueberry Honey Lavender and weren’t disappointed. The cafe itself is cute and a nice place to relax.

I stopped in when I noticed they served cheese burgers. I had a Ratatouille moment... Took me back to middle school days when we would sneak up town to a hole in the wall to have the most amazing cheese burgers. The ice cream is also good.

Great ice cream! The Oreo is the BEST. A little pricey but high quality ice
Good News' lavender and honey ice cream was absolutely amazing! The unique flavor combination was a delightful surprise. The shop's cool ambiance added to the experience, and the friendly attendant offered great suggestions. With outdoor seating, it's a perfect post-dinner treat after dining in nearby restaurants. I didn't even have time to take a photo because it was so good! A must-try dessert spot!

So excited for the vegan options. I had banana paradise and coconut raspberry. The banana wasn't very bananany but I had both flavors together and thought it was delicious!

Everything tasted so real. Ice cream was fresh and creamy. Ingredients were super flavorful. Banana nut was my favorite flavor. Fig and honey and blueberry lavender honey were my other flavors. Both was really good. There was fresh lavender and blueberry in the icecrea, which I haven't seen before anywhere. Overall, this icecream place should not be missed if you are in Madison.

The ice cream was very good. They had a decent selection of unique dairy and non-dairy flavors. We tried the blueberry honey lavender, lemon crunch, and Mexican hot chocolate. All were great. Highly recommend!

Not me coming here twice in 2 days for dessert after most of my colleagues went back to the hotel...I was in Madison for a quick business trip, and we were downtown both nights for dinner. And Good News Ice Cream was the closest dessert place to it, that I ended up going both nights! I do agree with the other reviews. The service is really nice, but they are painfully slow. They really need to streamline their process and the flow. Instead of having one person getting ice cream for a customer and then ringing them up, why not have one person just scooping all the ice cream and having the other person doing the register? The first night, I got the blueberry lavender Honey Ice Cream. It was delicious. The lavender really complemented the honey and the blueberry. It had whole frozen blueberries in it as well. The second night, I got the mint chip, which I really enjoyed! It was super refreshing, and I liked the addition of whole chocolate chips. I got kid scoops both nights, and it was the perfect size for me after heavier dinners. They also have color changing spoons!I did try the fig & honey, which didn't taste like anything to me. The mango was also really creamy and had a good mango flavor. They also have coffee drinks, sandwiches, and donuts (which looked fantastic - only $1 for day old donuts). They also have nondairy options! I would definitely come back next time I'm in town.
