The most amazing dining hall on campus amazing staff amazing options affordable for all you care to eat. Lovely. Beautiful. Mouth-watering. Some of the most delicious cuisine in Madison. Lovely if your vegan as well!
The sandwich makers always look incredibly miserable, but they do a fine job
I came to eat at the dining hall but there was a massive protest happening right in front of it. They were loudly calling out UW Madison for keeping monkeys in labs, holding big signs, handing out flyers, and showing disturbing footage from the meat and dairy industries. The monkey protest was so large and visible that it took over the whole entrance, and I completely lost my appetite. To my surprise, they also had the strongest man in Germany there, talking about being vegan. The whole scene was intense and impossible to ignore.

Loved this place! Great ambience, tons of food choices (even for vegetarians) and super friendly staff. Was thrilled to see chole chawal on the buffet and those red velvet cupcakes were the perfect finish. Amazing value for money!
The foods are great at this great price ! It is clean and comfortable, of course it is very safe! It is easy to get a seat and serves yourself.
However, it is closed one hour as the closed time , which not allowing anyone come one hour before it’s closed time each morning, afternoon. Also, it will close the door for the foods , makes it a bit weird to get in to get some food although you are still in the restaurant.
Are you trying to give me colorectal cancer… be so serious. Pink to red chicken and fish filet with plastic wrap on it. What a waste.
Great food great atmosphere
I was there for a conference in the upstairs area. Really big space with all the amenities. Great campus location near the Kohl Center and LaBahn Arena

Amazing place, with all types of cuisines
Very clean will organized and laid out for a food service or college. Very well done. And very affordable but they do not take cash. Card only FYI. Very friendly staff as well. That’s key to enjoy your meal besides good food.
$10 per visit is really good. Huge array of foods. Great spot to go on your lunch break during work.
