We've been here twice for lunch. We've enjoyed it both times. I like the healthy menu options and would like to see more.

Food was quite mediocre. I got the quesadillas off the specials menu—sauce was overpowering and the stuffing lacked flavor. Service is good though and it’s a great atmosphere for groups.

Had not been to this location of the Great Dane Pub in many years and I recently heard they were closing down . Stopped in for a classic New London Bridge fish fry and decided to do it as a take out .

What I have liked about this fish fry is the option to choose two or three pieces of fish and of course the warmed up malt vinegar . I always get an extra side of the homemade tartar sauce which is a great dipping sauce for fries and fish .

Always decent and consistent food , while same goes for the service all these years . This location will be missed , but happy to know there are a few more around the area to enjoy the food .

10 out of 10 would recommend. Today I had Jeannine as a server/waitress and she was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I cannot say enough good things about her. I cannot express enough of how she made our entire day a better day. Truly a wonderful person.

The Great Dane is a staple in Madison experience and should be on your list to visit. Still serving some of the great tasting beers during my college days. Great beer, food, and service. You won’t be disappointed!

Being the day of the first Badger Football game, the lunch hour was a bit busy. Our server, Sophie, was amazing!! She was very attentive, incredibly busy, great sense of humor, and all the while was smiling! The food was awesome!! I give Sophie 6 out of five stars and the food, five stars!!!

Steak came out a touch pinker than expected (ordered medium rare), it was melt in your mouth good. It was a little cold in our booth but the atmosphere was great. Service was excellent and our server seemed very experienced.

The menu has gone continuously downhill for years. The latest change - brisket nachos are now steak nachos.

4 people, all of us picked something different to eat. All food and service was very good

Service was good and very quick. Atmosphere was nice. Double smash burger was terrible no crust on the burger and it was served on the most dry white bread you’ve ever seen. No way that should be $16 dollars. Double rum and coke was also $11 which is very overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. Would not go back

Sat on the patio with the pup. Just did a flight of beer (6) and a pretzel appetizer. Good beer selection. You can get 4-6 in a flight.
Would definitely come back.
