We were blown away by the food here! It was so flavorful, with great textures and delicious sauces. We had dry rub wings (my favorite part of the meal), buffalo wings, wraps, chili and a sandwich.

They have a nice tasty mix of clean healthy meals, and vegan sandwiches and comfort food. Soup of the day was also excellent and don’t sleep on the house made Vegan Voodoo Bar!

So many great options! Some of my favorites were the wings, owl fries, and the mushroom burger. Everything was absolutely delicious! I will be sure to come again next time I'm in the area!

Cute little cafe with lots of options. The menu is vegan as is but you can swap in dairy if you prefer. They have outdoor seating!

My husband and I came here for the first time in many years, and it was a great experience. Everything we ordered was excellent!

I thought the food used to be a little hit or miss, and it has definitely improved. I look forward to returning.

Blown away. Two in our group are veg two are big meat eaters. We all LOVED it. We had wraps a burger and the buffalo “wings”. Insanely good.

The best of the worst tonight, but most of my food went into the trash. I’m sorry the staff were very friendly and cool, but the food did not cut it. Where’s y’all food rating? It wasn’t posted. Waste of money, 3rd restaurant disappointment tonight, Madison do better it’s already hard being a vegan in a dairy state.

one of my go-to spots, always awesome!

My wife ordered the vegan Curry Burrito and I had the vegan Philly-style Cheesesteak with roasted garlic potatoes as a side.
We drove just under an hour to our destination after picking up our order (we walked in and ordered so we could see the daily specials).
The food was insanely delicious- even after a long car ride! We considered moving to Madison for ease of access to the Green Owl - but maybe a franchise in our Mountain state would be a better option.
Sorry no food pictures- disappeared too quickly.

Our absolute favorite restaurant on the whole north and east coast! We are vegans, but have brought non-vegan family here and they have loved it as well! You can’t go wrong with anything! But our favorites are the carrot ginger soup, the vegan supreme crunch wrap, the kale chips and the cashew cookie dough bar.

I really like the food here and I'm not vegan. I recommend the vegan chicken sandwich. they have great fries also. The jackfruit burrito is also great.

We were immediately greeted by the staff upon walking in and they took time to explain where we should order, give recommendations, etc. The fries were perfect! I tried their house burger which was a little nontraditional with cheese sauce and jalapenos, and it turned out to be excellent. We also tried the chicken sandwich which was perfectly crispy.

This is our favorite vegan spot ever and favorite restaurant in Madison! We always try the weekly special in addition to one of our go-to’s and Green Owl always hits it on the nose. Amazing appetizers and entrees, great drinks, delicious desserts, and a fabulous vibe! 🌱
