5/5, amazing food, awesome customer service, food comes out quick and hot.

Staff is the usual workers so if you go regularly (like me), you can meet/talk to the same people. They are very friendly and will pick up/remember on your usual order. You can tell a lot of customers are regulars.

By far the cleanest Chinese restaurant around, tables are clean, windows are clean, bathroom's are clean. Well lite so it doesn't feel like you are eating in a hole. Climate is perfect for those hot summer days or if you are eating spicey food. Huge menu for anything you desire even with dietary restrictions.

They do get busy during lunch and dinner but they still make the effort to getting you taken care of in a timely manner.

Tip: Bourbon Chicken and crab rangoons will have you addicted..

I love coming here! Especially when I'm short on money, I got fried rice a spring rolls for 11 ish dollars and it was a very large serving of rice ♡ The employees are really nice too!
I will definitely be coming backᰔ

Was sad when the Happy Wok on the west side of Madison closed. So it is a real treat when the wife and I travel to the east side to get food here.

Happy Wok is a shining star in the sea of East Madison's slew of mediocre chinese takeout restaurants. Never disappointed by their quality and portions. Their Hot & Sour soup can cure any cold

Has been my go to Chinese going on 5 years…they made a few order mistakes awhile back but made corrections on next order…Ordered again last night Two meals..Chicken Bric with cashews and Triple Delight plus a couple egg rolls …$43 with tip..the Triple Delight had no shrimp and Two scallops the size of dimes…not sure what is going on, but tough to stay in business with this kind of service…sorry….I called the first time and stayed with them, this time I tried to find an email, but to luck!

Good noodles and some of the friendliest service I've ever had.

My go-to is sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice. Ive ordered from other places and felt the need to add seasoning to my rice or the chicken was too greasy. I’ve also had shrimp and broccoli and everything is delicious. No need to add soy sauce or any other condiment. I pick up through the window. The food is always hot and ready.

It's not very good. I had some funny tasting honey chicken that wasn't crispy and when they say plain fried rice, the mean PLAIN fried rice. Egg roll was ok. Place is clean, people are friendly.

I’m so thankful for this place. I eat here often for lunch and it’s adorable. There’s nothing like a nice rice lunch to settle the day. Thanks happy wok.

We're vacationing in Madison for my birthday, and seen this place has A LOT of good reviews.
So....first off, was not impressed that they not only charge a 'service charge' for pickup orders, but you cannot NOT leave a tip. Like no option. I'm sorry, but since when do we start tipping for an order I have to go out and pick up myself?!?!
Anyways, whatever....we ordered pepper steak, pork lo mein, orange chicken, steamed dumplings, and crab Rangoon. The pepper steak and rangoons were delicious, but the orange chicken was not crispy whatsoever, like it had sat around way too long. My husband said the dumplings sauce lacked flavor (seriously?!? This is the saltiest, yummy sauce normally ANYWHERE)
So....there it is. Chicken was soggy, the dumplings sauce sucked, the fees for every little thing are kind of a future dealbreaker ($1.00 for sauce for the rangoons?!?!?!) ? BUT, the rangoons and pepper steak, and actually the pork lo mein too, we're very good.

love this place, they both were so friendly and best damn tasting Chinese food I've had in a long time and it's my favorite. and best damn crab Rangoon ever tasted. And for people like me who are picky about I want egg and pea but no onion perfect I like my lo mein plain usually I'm stuck ordering a meat with it. but they have a option to buy smaller side and pay for just brown sauce so I'm not paying ingredients u dont have. love it I'm here alot for uw hospital I'm a recipient of a kidney transplant so I will always eat here now. wish I could get u to open one in appleton lol
