Great atmosphere and delicious food. The cocktails are original and well-balanced. Loved the various sauces for the food. Everything we had was a fun spin on a traditional dish. Highly recommend the lumpia!

This is a mixed review. I liked and disliked certain things about this restaurant. I thought the food choices were interesting and different. The quality of most of the things I had were good. However, I paid $22 for 3-scallop dish. The potato side was underwhelming but the price represented what you got and the dessert was good. The ambience and the price for what you get will prevent me from going again.

Weird vibes and just ok. Given the amount of glowing reviews, my expectations were pretty high. However, the experience was strange from the moment we walked in the door and I left feeling underwhelmed, annoyed, and honestly still pretty hungry. Maybe it was a bad night (it happens to the best of us), but I won’t be going back to give it a second chance. We listened to the bartender telling us about their tattoos and trips to a bartending conference while all we really wanted to do was put in a drink order. We received our drinks (they were good), finished them, and then waited another thirty minutes for anyone to acknowledge that we might want to order food or another drink. We did, however, watch all the staff do a couple rounds of shots together while we waited. We ordered several small plates and an entree, all of them were decidedly just ok. The lumpia were greasy and soggy, and I definitely don’t recommend spending extra $8 on the crab & chèvre…it tasted like canned tuna. Honestly, they tasted like reheated frozen leftovers. One of our orders never came out, and no one checked on us while we ate so we couldn’t flag anyone down. They were busy doing another round of shots. Finally, when someone came to clear our plates we mentioned it. They brought our missing kebabs right away and comped it, which was appreciated. The meat was incredibly dry and cold, and overall the dish was lacking flavor. Also didn’t appreciate the handsy host. I definitely don’t like strangers repeatedly touching my back while talking to me. One time, fine. SEVERAL TIMES is not an accident. It was to the point where others in my group noticed and mentioned how creepy it was when we left. There are many local restaurants within a two mile radius with better service, cocktails, and food. I’d recommend trying one of those out.

Overall this place impressed me. Only two comments is the doner kebab bites felt sub-par for the price and the server seemed to over-explain every dish and cocktail. However, the entrees were absolutely delicious. We ordered the Duck Confit, Steak, and Duck Breast and wanted to lick our plates clean. The chocolate mousse for dessert IS A MUST. Best dessert I’ve had at a Madison restaurant!

I mostly come here for the fun cocktails. But the one time I got dinner, I got the rabbit, and it was excellent! I certainly recommend the bar and the kebabs though!

If I could take pics of a vibe I would… This place was slappin though. Came in to the place bumping some old skool Erica Badu and I was immediately feelin it. That vibe permeated the evening after that. We opted for apps and a salad that we shared and it was everything we hoped for. Unique culture fusion menu that actually worked for once! We are excited to see this kind of energy and culture in a small restaurant in Madison. Don’t hesitate to check it out!

Delicious food and chill atmosphere. Very cool to learn that most of the menu is gluten free! The Budae jjigae was excellent and had the kind of spice kick I like. I would definitely eat here again.

Cozy, friendly place with excellent service, inventive cocktails, and exquisite food. My husband and I drove in from Watertown to meet local friends and were unexpectedly delayed by icy roads. The staff never pressured our friends to hurry, let them linger over cocktails and appetizers while we made our way there. Love this place! We'll be back

We stayed at nearby Mendota Lake Inn. The host recommended Hone so we walked over for a bite. We stayed late, enjoying the service and the bourbon selection. We returned the following night for drinks. This was last summer and I find myself trying to make a reason to travel back. We loved Hone that much. ❤️
