Went here at 5:15pm on a Tuesday and they were closed. Lights were on inside but doors were locked. Maps indicated they were open.

No food, especially meats, available to choose to eat. Very dirty and sticky. Never got to eat there. Asked for a refund which they gave me. Would have liked an apology but didn’t get that. Wausau WI location. Was excited to eat here. Our location in Madison Wi went out of business. Sad that this might be the next one. Thank you for the reply to my review! I am sorry I posted it to the wrong location. So excited that you will be opening soon-hope to be one of the first to be in. The Madison location was always AWESOME.

It was a nice experience, has the chance to choose what I wanted on my plate, very delicious, I mean I prepared my food, literally, I loved it, the desert as I got the Khan's cake is delicious, very rich the chocolate is very good not so overwhelming. The only thing I would point are the waiters, they don't offer a straw, the desserts of some of my coworkers supposed to go with ice cream but they didn't even ask if they wanted it as we got the desserts to go. Definitely the waiters are a little lost... Would I visit it again? Yes, I liked the food!

We like going to this place once in a while - it's different from other restaurants. This whole "Mongolian" thing about huge frying pan/table - there is some variety here, not offered by other restaurants (there was another place in Madison called "Flat Top Grill" I believe, that closed down few years ago, and of course Chinese restaurants now have miniature "Mongolian" grills). But when they first opened several years ago, the offerings were better then. For example, they had a shark for a fish item if I recall correctly, and now they have pollock - totally uninspiring fish in my opinion. But many a restaurant lure the customer with some fine items when they first open, just to discover they can't afford to carry it, and cheapen the menu down the road. Also, prices have shot up significantly over the years here - also not unique to this particular place. Also, the sauces I loved- "Burning Village" and "Khan's Revenge" were not available on the last visit - don't know if this is temporary or not.

This place was fantastic! This was my first time at this location. The service and food was impressive. The food was chopped up beautifully to the appropriate size for stir fry, and the selection was awesome. I normally go to the Appleton location and it doesn't even compare to this place. Food is hardly chopped, it's in big chunks and even the cilantro is a mess in Appleton. Plus the size of your beverage is double the size of what you get in Appleton. This location has won me over! Thank you!

The place is big and the grill time isn't long. They offer all you can eat so you can go up multiple times and try different sauces with different meats and veggies. Other places it's one trip only so you have to try and squish everything into one bowl, it's nice that HuHot offers multiple trips so you don't feel cheated or in a rush.

I have been coming here regularly for years. After a period of decline in service quality, the new management has really stepped up their game. Napkins are now readily available at all tables (this actually is a *major* improvement) and staff are attentive to requests.
