Easy to miss (it is above another shop and google maps shows its location incorrectly) but I am glad I persisted and found this cosy and welcoming place. The momo is delicious and made fresh to order - I had the 'jhol momo' in a spicy sesame flavoured broth ... great to mop up with a 'rosemary roll' (an unique variation on a roti - steamed rather than grilled). I posted recently that I found out from a server at Himal Chuli (the Himalayan restaurant just down the street) that their momocha are never vegan... but the Veggie Momos here at the Hungry Badger (they are handmade dumplings, whether you spell it long or shorthand) are ALWAYS vegan... and guess what? We got the pan fried chicken, alu, and beef momos. Paired with a Badger Club Amber beer. Highlights: music in restaurant, tomato sauce served with momos, house hot sauce (very hot) and alu dumplings Was a delicious meal with great service!
